How could the Inquisitor NOT spare that exquisite backside~?

 

And how IS this mount system going to work? I hope our companions get horses too or else they'll have to sprint after the Inquisitor like your follower in Skyrim. I can't even count how many times I lost my followers that way.

 

And if they don't get their own mounts.....do they all just pile onto ours? Varric and Vivienne and Solas and the Inquisitor all riding across the countryside on one horse would definitely draw a few stares, I imagine. And make for some interesting banter!

 

I would feel so bad for that horse if it had to carry all of them, plus possibly armor too...

 

I really hope everyone has a horse or some kind of mount and follows along.  If Solas turns out to be Dalish, for instance, he could ride a halla instead.  And that would make him downright epic, in my opinion.

I hope Solas does like animals.  We won't have a mabari this time, apparently... they'll be in-game but we won't have one.  But we will have a horse or horses... maybe party members will interact with the horses?  Maybe take turns tending them or something, so we go up and they're dealing with the horse in camp?

In all seriousness, I really hope our companions have horses as well. And I would love a horse whistle like in Assassin's Creed. I still don't know the fates of some of my Skyrim horses. I think they must have died before I fast traveled.

Sometimes I do the dark brotherhood questline just to get Shadowmere >.> with the Dawnguard DLC you can get the flaming skeleton ghost horse Arvak and you can summon him at any time, he's awesome

I hope our mount in DA:I is unkillable and has a personality. Bonus points if my inquisitor has the option to talk for the horse/elk/halla like Cristof and Sven in Frozen XD and omg sharing a mount with the LI is such an adorable idea, I would love that!

Probably in a Dragon's belly like my first horse lol. I was all like "yay finally saved up 1000 septims! Then first dungeon I go in after that, I come out and the horse is dead and there is a dragon flying around.

Yah, I'd love to see the companions in general interact with animals.  Sometimes it tells you more about the kind of person they are.  If Solas is candied hot peppers, I'd think he'd treat animals pretty well, but then again he might lose his temper... I don't know.

This honestly makes me miss having a proper mabari companion from back in Origins (you were the best war dog, Jayne!), and the fact that it had party banter with other companions was fairly entertaining. That said, I wouldn't mind companion-and-horse banter, it could make for some decent entertainment

That's not lame, that's so cute!  Plus, it sounds like corny dad humor so it's even better   When I first played DA:O it was right after we had to put my dog down so I got really attached to Tulip the mabari.  I really hope we get some sort of pet or mount we can care for/about and interact with, and it's an easy way to get a lot of players more emotionally invested in the game.  Ser Pounce-a-lot was super cute, and I even got attached to the stray dog that followed me around in Skyrim for a while (lol I tracked him down after we got separated).  Oh, and no one can forget Dogmeat from Fallout!  If we get a unique horse, I swear I won't name her Epona.  I'm totally naming her Epona Oooh or maybe Bela.  Choices, choices.
