^Acutally, Varric is in the "Judas" pose.
And Solas is taller than Dorian in that scene. What madness is that?!

Hm. As others have pointed out, the War Room pic resembles the Last Supper (daVinci's).
If we go by who is sitting/standing where, then it looks like Solas would be a traitor. I really hope they don't make him an LI and then have him betray us... again. That would be way too much like Anders all over again. And yet I wouldn't put it past them... they love doing that to us...
Maybe it would be smarter to romance Dramatic Hands... or maybe romancing Solas will keep him from betraying you... I have no idea. I hope I'm wrong.
Honestly, I doubt that Solas would be the traitor character, as he doesn't strike me as the sort from what I've heard of him. If anyone is going to be a traitor character, I would predict it to be Sera or Cole. They both fit the bill, as one is wild and supposedly unpredictable past her love of coin, and the other is... well... Cole.
On that note someone had mentioned the character to food correspondence earlier, and I'm pretty sure that Cole is the wax fruit. Pretty appearance, deceptively human looking, etc. Not entirely "human" conscience.

True, and Vivienne and Cassandra are the only ones looking away from the Inquisitor.
We may be reading too much into this. The people in the possible "Judas" position are Cole and Solas, depending how you view the figures in The Last Supper since they are leaning in and away etc. I could believe either of them might be a traitor, especially if we end up finding out that Solas either is or is connected to Felassen in some way.

Sera also seems tall compared to Leliana. I guess the elves have been drinking a lot of milk.
They ARE really tall. Let's just say it was demons and try not to let it bother us ![]()

Why not Dorian (DHMG)?
... I just got a idea, its prob stupid butttt:
Inquisitor: You still haven't let go of my hand, cueball *smirking at him*
Solas: *a little flustered* I'm afraid I'm still inspecting it. You're fade-powered hand is very interesting.
Varric: Must be hard to inspect when you two have your hands swinging between you.
Inquisitor: *laughs*
I apologize this is stupid

I kind of hope that the inquisitor is tiny if they're an elf, though. I've always been tickled by the idea of a tiny person walking around in plate armor with a sword and shield, and I plan to do it again for DA:I.
Why not Dorian (DHMG)?
We don't know all that much about Drama Hands yet, so he's kind of up in the air, I suppose. Now that you mention it, several of the other characters seem like they could have their own motivations to betray you... Vivienne for political gain (really hoping Bioware addresses this angle of her character, as there's no such thing as a politician with their hands completely clean), Iron Bull because he simply doesn't respect he Inquisitor's authority... goes on.
Is it really hinted that there will be a traitor? I mean, besides that it resembles the painting?
Honestly, I kind of hope there's not one at all or that your choices can somehow convince them not to go through with it. It would make me sad. lol

There's usually a "traitor" or a "turning point" character in all Bioware games. I'd assume that they'd be like Zevran or Isabella, if there is a traitor character, where your influence with them determines how they react to you.
We know next to nothing about Solas. "Hot pepper candy" is all we know. He could be a passionate sort like Garrus, who ends up doing something horrible under the impression that he's doing something good and right. So yes, there could be a traitor and it could very well be Solas. Cole also seems a likely suspect, given what I know of him from Asunder.
It won't surprise me if there is a traitor in our midst. I just hope it's not Solas, because two for two on LI traitors in Dragon Age games just might make my next Dragon Age playthrough be celibate. Though that said, Anders' romance arc was actually very good and sticking to it does have its bonuses storywise (much as I wanted to kill him). So maybe even if Solas breaks our hearts it will still have redeeming qualities to the story...

Nope, just resemblance.
But I really don't trust the magisters.

I'm actually still uncertain if mary was referring to a candy made from that pepper, or the candy company that makes salted taffy. Nonetheless, they both invoke a similar image of something that's deceptive in flavor vs. appearance. I'm still holding out on what someone said earlier, that he actually is a more quiet, relaxed type who has a surprisingly strong will/crass sense of humor.
EDIT: I was wrong again, it was just saltwater taffy. Which is normal taffy. And Scotch Bonnet Candies is actually known for their fudge.
So, Solas is either fudgy or deceptively spicy.

Haha, I can even imagine that - "No no, get away from me, demon!"
What can I say - choose wisely ![]()

That sort of thing I wouldn't mind, if you can convince them against it.

DA4 character> Hands off of me! Don't even look in my direction in that steamy way of yours! I heard what happened to the Hero of Ferelden.. and to the Champion of Kirkwall... and to the Inquisitor... I want no part in this "love" mumbo jumbo. Stay back! BACK I SAY! Or I shall set you on fire!
I doubt that part of the video has anything to do with "The Last Supper"? ......of course everybody is Speculating nothing wrong with that. *shrugs*
I just don't see Solas as a traitor...if there is a traitor in the game I hope we can talk them out of it or something like that...like Isabella for example. ![]()

Isabella betrayed me regardless, but, I do hope that you can convince your party not to betray you, lest any should be tempted. Solas in particular we need on our side--he's our Fade expert. He may have some insight on how the Inquisitor gained that fancy green Synthesis power, or how it works.
I don't know why, but this made me giggle so hard.
they're just so juxtaposed that it actually doesn't give us much of a hint regarding his personality at all, lol. Someone ought to tweet Kirby to clear this up.
EDIT: I decided to tweet her. I'll let the forum know the reply when she gets back to me.

Now, to think of it, BW has a looong history with betrayers, starting with Yoshimo from BGII. Sigh.
Just saw a quote from an article in a thread in Scuttlebutt... I can't confirm it's real but evidently Cameron Lee says that romance options will have set orientations...
Which means that it could be that some of us won't get to romance Solas. Or someone else we may be interested in. Personally I'm very unlikely to play a male Inquisitor, so if Solas ends up gay, well... no Solas for me.
Can't say I'm entirely happy about that, if it's true, because I'm pretty sure that means that the straight option would be Cullen, who is not a companion. Solas might be bi... that would be nice. But then that would probably mean Dramatic Hands is gay, which means I'd miss out on another interesting character... Or the reverse would be true, with Solas gay and Dramatic Hands bi and I'd miss out on Solas. Either way, I lose because I'm not nearly as interested in Cullen as I am Solas and Dramatic Hands. Nothing wrong with friendship, but... honestly this is why I prefer playersexual/bisexual LIs.
Guess that sounds selfish of me... I would be glad for the people who still got access to that content, don't get me wrong. But I'd always feel like I'm missing out, and yet I don't currently want to play a male character--I don't get enough opportunities to play well-written female characters as it is, and as someone who has a full-time job, well, there's not a lot of spare time these days for extra playthroughs.
