Um, yes, revealing the plot of a book I'm in the middle of reading is spoiler material. And disappointing. If something you're writing is going to reveal something the reader doesn't find out until more than halfway through the book, please tag it...

I hope we don't get betrayed by our companions. It's to the point where we kind of expect it now and I just find it kind of annoying.
I'd like it more if we support someone throughout the game, like Celene or the city elves, etc, and they end up throwing us to the wolves at some point to further their cause. THAT would be cool!

Exactly! Except it builds throughout the whole game and you really don't see it coming considering how much you did for them.
Well I imagine some sort of betrayal will occur in this game. Or multiple betrayals. And SOMETHING will happen that brings tears to our eyes because BioWare developers are horrible, no good heartbreakers.
We definitely need some good character-specific merch in the BW store. My "Enchantment? Enchantment!" shirt is getting pretty worn, and I wasn't big on any of the DA2 shirts they had.
Yessss, I would love to see some new merch pop up!
I hope the Solas betrayal theories are wrong. I do not want to deal with another "Damn it, Anders!" moment. They wouldn't do that to us twice...um, right?

I'm reading into this a ton but the positioning of Solas and Cole in the group picture is super cute. I get a duckling-following-his-mama-around feeling from the way Cole is standing so close and the way he's looking at Solas.

Are you painting it by hand or using cafepress or something similar?
I've been messing around with a few different methods. I really like using bleach or sprayed fabric paints with stencils (multi-part stencils turn out nicely) but I'll probably end up using cafepress again since my attempts at hand painting always turn out awful. The bleach/paint + stencils method is really great for logos and silhouettes and you can use a bleach pen to sketch some really awesome designs directly onto the shirt. With your artistic talent I bet you would create something BEAUTIFUL!
The hardest part for me is picking a design to go with. I think I'd like to use that stylized Solas face that RynJ had as her avatar a few days ago, but I have a hard time translating my ideas into reality in a way that doesn't look cheap or tacky.
I just feel the strong urge to express my Dragon Age obsession in some visible way

Varric might make sense if he's still under the influence of the red lyrium idol maybe. But not everyone let him keep it.
Cole is under suspicion because he's basically a demon, but I think that'd be too obvious. I think he might be able to betray you as much as any companion potentially could, but I don't see it being a Big Plot Betrayal sort of thing.
Solas... I could see reasons for it. Especially after reading Masked Empire. But I wouldn't declare doom and gloom over it. If he's actually heavily tied into the main plot I think it'd be pretty cool. Elves are usually side-characters, not main players. I'm romancing him anyway, if he's available.

Celene betraying me would not be cool. Unless it involved some angry make up sex. But I wouldn't be entirely surprised. I do think people are blowing the "Last Supper" thing out of proportion though. I felt like Mary Kirby was just being facetious.

It's too bad we don't know much about Solas yet, or it would be easier to come up with something fitting.

That whole Nicolas Cage thing is starting to get on my nerves a little bit. It was funny at first but people acting like Solas is literally Nicolas Cage as an elf are being a mite ridiculous.
