I don't mind the lack of hair , some shaved/bald dude are quite hot.

But no hair + big ears+ all tiny = Gremlins.

 

I'd still romance him though , I mean I thought Fenris was a bit ugly and tiny at first but then he spoke...and I went all "oh yeah!"

Maybe Mr bald elf has a great personality.

I'll just take the Iron Bull around (if he's a companion) for eye candy...besides I think he also has no hair.

 

Guess I'll walk around with Bald Dude for healing , Iron Bull for muscle and Varric so he can make up for the lack of hair with the power of his chest.

Things can change. Fenris kept changing almost until the game was shipped so maybe he'll get hair

 

But I think he's a strong candidate for LI just because 2 male companions have to be and I don't think Varric or the Grey warden are likely:)

I had the same reaction when I saw the bald version concept arts, and the first gameplay footage. I hold nothing against baldness, but on this elf, I just see this:



The ponytail in the war room concept art works better. Put some hair on it. Please. lol!

I tend to think Mustache Guy is Dorian.

But that would make three mages with Vivienne and the elf.So...

 

I just don't get a Tevinter , brazen , dandy vibe from the elf .

The way he's dressed is really simple and practical.

And it reminds me of the apostates in the wood artwork.

I think he's just Vivienne 's opposite  , a mage who left the circle and is against it now , ready to leave all the circle luxury behind for "Freedom".

 

And this guy is just so tiny...I can't say I like it.Horrible flashback of Merrill in her underwear.

 

I'm warming to the idea that Dramatic Hands Moustache Guy is actually a chevalier. I don't think what he's holding is a staff, even though he sorta seems more Dorian-esque than Bald Elf Guy. 

 

Also, the bald elf does have more ornate clothing in the Deep Roads concept art - if that's the same character.

To be perfectly honest, the only thing I personally have against him so far as an LI is the lack of hair. Yeah, I guess I'm shallow 

 

Kind of agree, unfortunaly. Wonder why BW are so keen on him being bald.

 

I was "meh" to Thane my first playthrough. The second I just fell in love with him. .. And he is bald...and Green. So I guess there is hope of me seeing past the baldness.

This definitely looks like the guy I saw running around in the video. It looks like he's been aged down a little bit (oooh I hope this means he'll be an LI.) Based on the concept art we've seen he seems likely to be a "wise mentor figure" though probably a lot more cryptic than Wynn.

If you look at Dramatic Hands Moustache Swanky Guy's pic closely, he's actually reaching for a sword with his other hand - and I'm pretty sure that other thing is a spear, not a staff. 

 

(It's pointy, and if he's a chevalier than the ornament part could conceivably be a horseshoe-shape)

I really don't like the baldness... Hopefully he can wear a hat or something. Especially if he's a LI and likely the only one I'll want to romance. I always go for elves and it'll suck if he's bald :/

Why? If he happens to be, just turn him down and continue on. Also if he is the "wiser voice of reason" he probably won't be a LI. They usually don't seem to be.

He looks pretty cool, and I'm excited to see/hear more about him before forming any solid opinions of him. I doubt if he is the Dorian from the survey. If he is, cool as that seems like an interesting idea. A Tevinter magister outside of Tevinter, especially in such a troubled time for mages. Also, if he is just a random Mage, that will be cool too. I am already partial to Vivianne and imagine I will travel with her more.

Didn't really think that DHMSG (lol....that works, yes?) was a mage. More speculating on the general personality traits you brought up in your OP. I like these ideas, and just wonder if they may end up applying more to Fondue Fork man (DHMSG), or the Nosferatu Elf.
