I want to buy it but I want to wait to see if Solas can be romanceable for my female inquisitor...I know that sounds silly but I want to know more about the companions and this game before I cut off my arm and leg to pay for one lol! 

 

yep me too. It would cost really quite a lot for me, and I have to buy a PS4 and a decent TV too. level money: danger! 

I really like the cards.

 

I think I will just buy the deluxe without the box.

 

I'm a little pissed about it being exclusive GameStop: I prefer buy on Amazon.

Yeah I usually buy from Amazon cause I don't have a gamestop where I'm at, the nearest one is 30 miles from where I live...smh!

Same here. just less distant. half an hour with the car. In truth, I don't like much gamestop. 

Let's hope in Amazon.

oh, well...I'll wait and see. Maybe I can wait till Lucca comics and games in november...I'm sure there would be a lot of good stuff about DAI

Gawrsh! PS4? TV? I'm surprised to see this game is making some of you pay for like... super uber fancy electronics too! Maybe I'm too confident in my little 360 and I'm setting myself up for BIG problems. Yeah, I know the graphics won't be as good, but I really want to throw my money at the Collectors edition and not a new console just yet. (So long as my 360 can play the same games as the next gen consoles)

You know, as much as I'm not a fan of the big ears with the bald, it's the cloak that really unnerves me. I think I finally put my fingers on why: it reminds me of some old vaguely-remembered cartoon I saw as a child in which the evil crime lord had a big puffy jacket-robe. oh, as much as I like DA, is not "only" for this game I'm buyng the PS4. I have quite a lot of goodies I'm waiting  (cough*KH3, FFXV, The Order: 1886, Uncharted 4*cough for example)

Kingdom Hearts 3 is pretty on point, I can understand needing the next gen console for that.

I didn't mention this in my last post but....that's a lot of money you will be spending, a PS4 and TV?...hopefully you will be getting those seperately. That's usually what my Hubby and I do we buy one thing at a time that way no one will **** a golden brick!

I didn't mention this in my last post but....that's a lot of money you will be spending, a PS4 and TV?...hopefully you will be getting those seperately. That's usually what my Hubby and I do we buy one thing at a time that way no one will **** a golden brick! 

 

eh, I have to really think about it. I have been saving money for almost two years now. The tv is almost mandatory, since the one I have is smaller than the screen of my laptop, and it give me some problems (like turning on at random hours alone  )

maybe I'll wait for the PS4, but I really would prefer playng DAI on a PS4 and not on the PS3 (my good old monolith is too full and have it's bad moments too)

They certainly made an impact on me as a kiddo. So I shall wait in anticipation of the third one. (And hope it's better than all the little 'side-games' for the hand-held systems.)

I can't stand all the KH spin off. And I'm quite in rage with them, because where quite important pieces of story too, as I have learned from my copy of KH1.5 final mix

my PS3 is bravely still working with very few problems (it's an ex 80 giga, that I have upgraded in one terabyte) but the tv is slowly, and painfully dying

Fortunately, I already have the TV. And I already have the PS4. I was going to go ahead and upgrade to PS4 specifically for this game (and all future games), but hubby beat me to the punch and got me one for my birthday last month. 

 

So, now that the Collector's Edition info is out and I now know it's not really something I want to fling down nearly $200 for, my pre-order wait is over and I'll be swinging by GameStop on my way home from work today to go ahead and pay-in-full for the Deluxe Edition.

And then the true wait to 12:00am October 7th begins.

Poor thing sounds like your electronics are falling apart all around you...well i hope you got what you need when the game comes. 

 

Back in December my computer went kaput on me and had to get a new one but I was without a computer for over 2 weeks...bout went crazy without my pc cause that's where most my games are. I do have a Wii but i love my Pc...it's a part of my life we have a special bond...*sniff* ...oh don't mind me I'm in a silly mood today!

Guys, I had an awesome dream that Bioware announced that they would introduce all of the companions through videos that show them in action and include a few of their lines. Solas and DHMG's were lined up to be revealed today.

 

Why are dreams so cruel

Ugh, me too. I tried playing that one game where you have a card system and was like 'big friggin nope'. Did not like the card system. After that I haven't paid attention to any of the side-games.

TV sounds like it's already dead and comes back to haunt you sometimes.

YEAH how about Solas, this is a Solas thread... I hope I can get to drawing something silly before the end of the week. (probably based off something RynJ wrote earlier) I'm finally at a place where I can sit down and draw again.

On another note, I wonder if Solas can shape-shift. Being as he seems like a person who roams the wilds (due to his clothing choices) and is a possible runaway apostate, it would be a good way to remain incognito.

yup, that game mechanics where terrible. for what I know, it was good only the one for the 3DS. I don't have a 3DS, but I would never buy the game, since it was never translated in Italian. (when all the others games had the subtitles)   the instruction and the cover was in italian, but not the subtitles. I read quite well in english, but is for principle: if you take the disturb to translate the cover of the game, you do it to the game too!!! expecially a sequel of something you always have translated!

It would be interesting possibility,from what I know the Dalish are also known to practise this from of magic,apart from our well known shapeshifters (Flemeth,Morrigan).
Maybe he spent some time in a Dalish camp and learned how to change his shape as well,and perhaps this  is also where he adopted his clothing choices,after all the Dalish were described by brother Genitivi as  tattoed elves dressed in animal hides...

No fun when you can figure out how to play the game (somewhat) but can't understand the dialogue or the story (due to not understanding the dialogue). Well, on another note, I never knew they had Dragon Age in Italian or Italian subtitles. I learn something new everyday~!

Would sure make it easier to hide if he was a shape-shifter. (IF he's hiding from anything, I don't know, I'm still jumping to conclusions about where he came from even though we don't know anything)

It would support the idea of him going from city elf to wandering apostate. Hmmm... it is certainly another theory to put on the back-burner. But yeah! Not really sure what else to say about the matter other then musing over the possibility of first encountering shapeshifter!Solas as opposed to the elven version.
