I was bored so I made doll versions of all the companions. Here's my Solas. I couldn't really get the outfit right.

Also, I am now convinced that Solas is a super strong runner. I mean, those leg muscles are pretty dense

WARNING: it's really addictive. You can create 2 characters next to each other. So obviously I created my dream ElfQuisitor next to Solas. And they're holding hands.

I'm so glad this thread is here, I always feel happy reading all of your silly posts, especially after studying for 6 hours straight today uuuugh... Having a good laugh about Solas is just what I need on a day like this

It's really addictive. You can create 2 characters next to each other. So obviously I created my dream ElfQuisitor next to Solas. And they're holding hands.

I hope whatever Solas is wearing in this concept art is available in game. Because it looks pretty cool on him! Also, the gorgeousness of those screenshots in the Twitter thread, uuuuuuugh. Give this game to me nooooooow!

I'm just happy Solas (and the others mages) can finally wear pants. I've just started DA2 to refresh my memory, and because my only save was corrupted (bless the Keep when will be out.) this time around with a mage. And beside the fact I've already lost some interactions with Fenris (intended romance for this run) because I didn't made a question. grrr....I can't stand this method "speak now or never", like at a marriage. (I had to stop playng, so I just skipped some investigation options. I forgot those where to starting romance. and gain friendly points. damn.)

but the point is: those mage vests wheren't bad looking...but really, way too recognizable!!! I've played little, but I must admit: playng as a mage in DA2 is many time a big facepalm. everything in my character say: "  mage  " and we should be hiding from Templars...yes. right.

I usually romance Fenris as a mage and I've gotten used to just saving before every conversation when he's in my party or in his mansion just so I can reload if I screw up I never understood why people never noticed my Hawke was a mage even though she was obviously hauling a staff around all the time and wearing awfull mage hats, same when you were playing a blood mage and apparantly everyone was fine with that too.. But I guess that's all because the game was rushed and they didn't have time to implement that all in. That said I can't wait to see the reactions when you're playing as a Vashoth mage. (which I'm totally going to do just to giggle constantly like an idiot )

For one of my playthroughs, I will go for the full-on, "everyone will hate my guts" experience: female Vashoth mage/Bas Saarebas.

 

I did back to back playthroughs in Origins like that. Starting with a male human warrior and then playing a female elven mage. Basically everyone keeps telling you that female elven mages are terrible and then Alistair dumps you for being one unless you're mean to him.
