Hope you don't mind if I start saying that to people in real life. All of my artist friends are slightly/extremely (it varies by day) obsessed with the smolder. XD And when one of them showed me a sketch she did of a character I'm writing, I replied with "Yes... The Flynn Rider is strong with this one."

just a random thought...have we see, beside Zathrian, others male Keepers? I know Solas is probably not a Dalish (no vallaslin tatoo) but con shave the head be a practice among male Kepper's Dalish? since in a lot of culture people (man expecially) when in a religious role tend to have particular haircut (like for example Buddhist Priests)?

what if he was raised as a First, and than left the clan (or the clan was destroied) before he could have the tatoo? he may have kept the haircut (or lack of one) for praticality.

(probably was already speculated about, but I'm willing to re-open the discussion  )

If I recall correctly, Master Varathorn (craft master of Zathrian's clan) tells us that Mahariel's father was Keeper before Marethari.

 

I almost like the idea of Solas being ex-Dalish, but what of the vallaslin? I believe that the Dalish typically get their tattoos while they're young. Granted, he could have been an apostate in the city before coming to the Dalish, decided that it isn't his kind of thing, and then leaves.

Felassan is one of my favorite characters in any fantasy setting. I would absolutely love to see him again, and it isn't impossible given that when he 'died' he was in the Fade, meaning his body should still be alive, just tranquil. And in Asunder we find a cure for Tranquility so it is far from impossible that he will return.

I don't think everyone would be cured after the Veil tear because uhh

For a Tranquil to be cured, their mind must be touched by a spirit or a demon. Because demons find the tranquil undesirable hosts, they must lured in the Fade.

 

And if I remember correctly, only spirit mediums like Rhys are only able to lure spirits/demons out; so short of having one handy, I don't know how easily we'll be able to cure Felassan. :C

 

Edit: If you guys have Solas-y picture ideas or suggestions, feel free to you know suggest them and I'll draw them maybe. Just message me. :~)

It could honestly go either way, but likely the rift itself isn't enough to cure him. So either us or someone else would need to act to cure him.
