D'awww.    I want a Red Hart!  If Solas tries to wear it, he and I are going to have words.  And this reminds me...they've said a few things about being able to kiss your LI when you like again, Origins style, right?  So I think we should have a "hug" option on the action wheel. Like, all the time. I want to be able to randomly hug mounts and party members, and the ability to completely mess up and try to hug an attacking dragon.

Inquisitor: *rushing forward with arms open* FRIENDS FOREV--

Dragon: RAAAARGH!

Inquisitor: *bursts into flame*

I don't think everyone would be cured after the Veil tear because uhh

For a Tranquil to be cured, their mind must be touched by a spirit or a demon. Because demons find the tranquil undesirable hosts, they must lured in the Fade.

 

And if I remember correctly, only spirit mediums like Rhys are only able to lure spirits/demons out; so short of having one handy, I don't know how easily we'll be able to cure Felassan. :C

Edit: I quoted the wrong post. But this is in reply to the whole Felassan living when the veil tears idea.

 

The Templars make mages tranquil by performing the rite during which a lyrium brand is made on their forehead. The lyrium brand severs their connection to the Fade. It seems that this creates a break between a tranquil and their feelings (potentially their soul) which may suggest part of them is trapped in the Fade and can return when the rite is reversed using the Asunder method. In DA2 you can make Feynriel tranquil by killing him in the Fade and he is branded by the Templars afterwards. What I don't understand is why the Templars would rely on a method where they send mages into the Fade to (potentially) fight other mages. So I doubt the Templars use the Fade death method. I think the brand must be effective on it's own. Felassan didn't retain a consciousness after he was "killed" in the Fade so how could it return? Personally I believe the brand is effective without a death. And I don't believe Feynriel/Felassan could be cured using the Asunder method.

 

With that said, I previously stated that I don't think anyone can truly die in the Fade and went into what I thought happened here. I have to wonder if we'll ever know. But I hope Pharamond took notes and left them at Adamant, because I want to see the Divine's plan through and find a better way.

That would happen to me all the time. I always try to click on a door or something and end up talking to a party member. They're like my cat, always moving to where I'm about to walk. At least my cat only does that in the kitchen.

 Ugh, same (on both counts).  In my games it was usually Alistair, with his "Something on your mind?" And I'd just be like, "NO FOR MAKER'S SAKE JUST MOVE YOUR A** I'M TRYING TO WALK HERE!"  I love Alistair, but he needed to learn about personal space outside of the Tent of Sweet Lovin'.

I'd find it pretty endearing if Solas was grumpy and snarky most of the time around people but went full-tilt Merrill levels of cuteness over animals he thinks are adorable, which is most of them.

Giant lizard mount is going to totally be Mr. Scaly.

I love a stoic man who melts for animals. My first playthrough of DAO I didn't really like Sten, but the second time I started randomly bringing him around because even if I didn't like him, I wanted to know what he thought about stuff. Then Lelianna started to tease him about the kitten he was "training" and I actually cooed at my TV. I actually started having my character talk to him a lot and now he's one of my favorites.

 

So, basically, I like the idea of animal!lover Solas a lot.

solas, being the hermity lonery type who has probably lived out in the woods or something and is the opposite of the highly cultured Vivienne, doesn't know how to ballroom dance

 

dalish quizzy doesn't know the first thing about ballroom dancing either, it's a silly shem pastime!

 

quizzy has to go to an important ball to solicit the aid of a powerful noble as well as thwart an assassination.

in order to schmooze and also to blend in quizzy must (grudgingly) learn how to dance.

 

solas must attend as quizzy's escort for some insert reason here fade inquisition mages yes

cue montage of Vivienne teaching our unsophisticated duo how to ballroom dance together in preparation for the big event.. and it's adorkably awkward dawww

It was like the run for shotgun even after declaring you get it. Had to throw on his backpack, staff, and jump on the Hart before Sera could beat him to it.

Yeah, we do. There's... a bit problem when I can't pin down a character's personality at all, especially when trying to draw them and portray personality. I'm going with safe 'serious Solas' for now, but I have a feeling that's not cannon.

YAASSS SOLAS DRAWING! A Badass one this time, as I recall the verdict being, right? I anticipate the reveal.

As for the tablet pen, you're not the only one. I have a bad habit of dropping it on the floor. I don't know what in my brain has decided this is an ideal course of action, but I've often found it on the floor somewhere when looking for it. (Or once between couch cushions)

My cat always steals pens. He probably has yours. Did you check every table/bookcase between your desk and where you went? I always absentmindedly stick everything I carry away from my desk on one of our bookcases.
