It is rather funny how that seems to work, doesn't it? People who can't art can usually word and vice versa.

 

I can make no promises as my writing has, sadly, been on a bit of a hiatus since my mother passed two years ago. I keep trying to reignite it in spurts here and there, but has been slow going.

 

But I am hopeful to word again, and perhaps Solas will provide that spark to get me going once more. For interested parties, I do have a DA2 Hawke/Anders short story completed and a currently-on-hold DA:O City Elf Warden/Loghain novel (don't laugh at me!) located here: https://www.fanficti...0/DragonRacer13

Have never had that problem because I can't art. Seriously, not even in Paint. Allan would kick my booty up one side and down the other in skill level.

 

I live vicariously through you wonderful ladies and gents who can provide us with eye candy and laughs.

When I was around 5-years-old, I drew. A LOT. And all of the adults around me remarked at how great and advanced I was at drawing for my age.

 

And then I grew up. But my drawing skills did not. So, now it is no longer so impressive. 

 

Although all the talk of drawing has me of a mind to perhaps attempt my old 5-year-old's take on a possible Solas/Inquisitor ballroom dance, though. Maybe. Possibly. If nothing else than for the neat idea of Solas having to wear one of those Orlesian half-masks and maybe putting some Dalish vallaslin on it. For kicks and giggles.

(Also, my spellcheck wants to correct "vallaslin" to "Valvoline". I LOL'd.)

Yes, left brain vs right brain and whatnot. I smell what you are cooking. My brain has always been word and biology/earth science-oriented (gee, nobody could tell with that drunken dissertation I gave pages back about what animal Solas's jawbone necklace may have come from!  ). Drawing and math/physics/chemistry... not so much. LOL

 

And thank you. Writing has been the only part of my life to not go back to "normal" yet after that loss, but I am confident that it will in time. In due time. Just not fast enough for my preferences, haha!

I was working on a Solas drawing and suddenly had to leave my desk. When I came back... Ugh, I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in the whole world who would lose their Wacom pen It's going to turn up someplace weird, too, like in the fridge or something.

Do you guys ever lose yours? I'm tearing my apartment up looking for it >.<

The little Wacom pen for my Surface Pro sits in the thing's charging port when not in use but it falls out all the time.

I'm not much of an artist but it makes the CAD work I do so much easier.

Unfortunately, just a whole lot of static at the moment. Nothing new at all, which is why we are amusing ourselves with wacky fan art and crazy theories.

 

My guess is the information trickle on characters won't reveal anything new until whatever massive bombshell the crew has planned for E3 (or thereafter), since they've been hyping that on Twitter via Hints of Awesome To Come. *shrugs* Other than the "location reveal" Tweets showing some landscape screenshots, all's quiet on the western (approach) front.

 

Follower Fridays appears to have peetered out and died after the one, but David Hulegaard has said the marketing team is still putting something together that's supposed to better reveal all the companions. That is in "the coming weeks", but no real timeframe on that.

OMG! Ancient elf, Solas is Fesslien crazy theory just got more plausible. Still unlikely but, that would be awesome. I'm still thinking Solas is an ancient elf sleeper though. I bet tons of Internet cookies on it.
