The 100,000 complaints about him looking like a bald Nic Cage, of course
Ugh. I'm glad I don't use tumblr. If you're going to be insulting, at least try to be creative about it (not that I advocate insulting actual people, or even Solas).
I also forgot to elaborate for people who hadn't read it and were curious, in the Abhorsen trilogy you have a good necromancer who remedies the problem of dangerous undead raised by bad necromancers by sending them back to Death, and whose job it is to put the dead to rest
That sounds interesting, but if I add any more unread books to my bookcase it will fall through the floor.

But I'd like to see this sort of thing played out in DA.
Never mind hair color, anyone asked for confirmation on his eye color? Blue, gray, violet?
Good question. I don't think anyone has asked. I'd be more interested in knowing something random though. Does he laugh often? Would he prefer riding or walking? Has he ever licked a lamppost in winter?
Yeah I'd say you can easy read Asunder after Stolen Throne and before The Calling. The Calling is set before DA:O and sets up plotlines for DA:O Awakening really. Asunder is set after DAII and sets up for Inquisition. They also deal with different plot threads
Calling is about Wardens and Darkspawn and Maric and young duncan, Asunder is about mage-Templar war, tranquillity and the line between spirit and demon kinda
^ boiled down to basics
It might be worth mentioning the Fiona's back story is in The Calling. And while she is only mentioned in Asunder at the end, it could influence how you react to her. But I suppose it's not essential.
