  that's actually a lot like what I was hoping for, the sides just look... poofier than I expected.  No biggy though, there's a huge chance my heart will melt if we get to hear Dorian and Solas at E3 so his poofy hair is barely a blip on my radar

OH my glob! My sister has DHMG's hair. (Or at least the second spoilers hair) Well, it's still cool, but not as ~*fantastic*~. In any event I'm sure I'll enjoy having him tag along for adventures.

Solas COULD have a funny patch of hair on the side of the head we haven't really seen. But I kid. I kid. I'm pretty sure he's just 100% bald and beautiful.

Oh good gosh am I excited for E3 companion reveals! I wonder if we'll get to see everyone. I mean, as long as we see Solas I'm good because he's top tier on my list but I just want to get SOMETHING on everyone! Names, especially!

That would break my innocent heart if Solas ended up having a rotten personality! But it is a possibility.

 

I still see it brought up a lot. Other forums, tumblr... but, alas, I guess I dug up something that should have remained buried until someone else brings it up. Ahhhh I brought out the hate speculation.

 

Then you can just stay here and frolick with us in this cozy little thread of happiness, I really don't bother looking at other threads as often as I used to because honestly, this thread is the only one with awesome, decent and nonjudgemental people who don't whine about every little thing like hair (I mean come on guys really!? It's just hair..) On Sera topic though, am I the only one who finds that her face looks a little bit like that of a dwarf in DA:O? It makes her look really sweet and young but still totally badass so I LIKE IT! Also, my usual solution with bioware hair is choose a dark hair colour, lighter hair colours make it look worse most of the time I think, same with Sera now, but on the other hand like I already said, it's just bloody hair, so I'm not too bothered by it

One thing I've noticed replayng DA2...are Fenris antistain hair. Is a little...ridicolous...flashy white hair. Fenris covered (literally) of blood. but the hair are absolutely perfectly white! I've never notice it, but really...I'd like to know what people use at kirkwall to wash their hair.

That is...strange looking lol. If this bad hair trend trickles into the CC, I may have to join the baldquisition every time and that will suck because I like each character to look very different!

 

As long as there's more in the CC than bowl cuts and blunt bangs, I'm good!  I just remember being so excited to have more hair options in DA2, and then everything looked like it had come out of a hair salon mag from 1983. All of my characters have ended up with a bun or a ponytail, mostly so I could focus on the face instead of being distracted by weird hair...it would be nice to have some other options this time around. The styles on the heads they used to show off race and gender concepts were pretty cool, so I have hope. Loved the Cadash hair.

 

It looks like a furry creature attached itself to his head and is holding on. I'm finding this much funnier than I should   Poor Dorian!

 

Also, does he still have that little soul patch? It doesn't look like he does. I think Ymirr is confusing me with (awesome) art where he still has it!

 

Ymirr has spoiled us with his awesome art! His Dorian is always going to be the one I think of. Hope the in-game Dorian matches fairly well!

When not skulking around his abandoned mansion and lamenting his past, Fenris was making regular trips to the Kirkwall salon to get a whitening rinse put on.   I loved his ridiculous hair, really.  But I have a thing for pretty anime boys! Especially ones who sound like Gideon Emery.

 

Yeah, I wonder if Solas stays bald purposely? It would be interesting to run across him with shaving cream all over his head. Even more interesting if the Inquisitor could offer to help and then give him a shaving cream mohawk/afro/etc. I'm sure that would go over well.

I'm really really hoping that Solas doesn't have a crummy personality in any way, since my 5 year old son hearts him so much. I'm hoping he'll be a good role model. T really identifies with him. After the Sera quote image I have hope. She sounds like a character that's moral without being up tight. I'd really love to see more characters like that. Not everyone needs to be morally bankrupt or a stick up their butt paladin!

Not sure if we'll get anything over the weekend but if we got a Solas snippet tomorrow that would be awesome! Of course, it could be DHMG too. That would leave me kind of like "grumble grumble fine, I guess he needs a real name" but I couldn't be too upset considering E3 is so soon! ALL the information will come! (Or maybe just a few screen-shots and a snippet of a voice but hey, I'm easy to please).

Haven't been on the forums for awhile since the dry spell of character info was getting to me, but... I'm so incredibly excited for E3 and some Solas info! x_x I hope he's the companion picture of the day tomorrow! (Especially want to hear his quote!)

Deflagratio in the Twitter thread worked out that they're following a reference from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia:

Sera the wild card

 

Iron Bull the muscle

 

? ? ? ? ? the brains

 

? ? ? ? ? the looks

 

I suspect that the brains is Solas, and the looks is Dorian Pavus. 

 

That takes up Saturday and Sunday, and the conference is on Monday. Four spots for four characters.

@ elu - If that's really what they're doing, that's hilarious! I would never have expected any Always Sunny references with this game but it's pretty great!

We know more about Solas than 'Cole', DHMG, and Scribbles.

Wouldn't bother me if that ends up the case; I'm gonna make Inquisitors that'll eventually cover each of the romances anyway.

Someone in (I think) the Twitter thread said so far we got The Wildcard and The Muscle, which seems to be a reference to an "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" skit (and probably a common trope overall) in which the characters took on aliases of The Wildcard, The Muscle, The Brains, and The Looks.

 

Makes sense as a running theory to me that The Brains would be Solas (Fade Expert) and The Looks may be DHMG (if he really is called Dorian Pavus, his last name is Latin for "peacock"). Which would also be a reveal for Saturday and Sunday, then E3 starts Monday.
