We know more about Solas than 'Cole', DHMG, and Scribbles. 

If DHMG is Dorian than we know more about him, actually. If 'Cole' is Cole, same thing. Can't argue about Scribbles but I doubt she's a companion.

I have a feeling we'll see Solas tomorrow because they just showed Sera and Iron Bull who were both unofficially announced as companions in the same article that showed the first Solas screenshots.  Obviously that's very little to go on, I just group the three of them together in my head because it seems like Bioware was willing to show them to journalists while DHMG and Beardy have remained very mysterious.

I hope you're right! I like Dorian as much as the next person but they can't keep holding out on that Solas info! I'm acutely aware of how little we know about him 

 

And yes, the word "journalist" only loosely applies 

 

@ elu - If that's really what they're doing, that's hilarious! I would never have expected any Always Sunny references with this game but it's pretty great!

 

It will be nice to have something that will hint at his personality.

Gaider did make a post in the Scribbles thread that hinted at her personality. So she isn't a complete unknown.

Unlike Solas, DHMG, or Beardy, if people want to learn about Cole Asunder and the DA wiki already offer plenty of info.  I know we know as little about Cole from direct marketing as we do about the others, but it's there, whereas it does not even exist for the others.

Solas is the only one I can peg as the male gay romance.

I would just be extremely pleased if Solas was a LI. If I have to have a male Inquisitor, I'll do that. If I can do the do as a female Inquisitor, cool. If he doesn't want to try Inquisitor all I hope for is a gentle let down.

I'd find that being true for our first kossith li would be hilarious.  I wouldn't mind at all  , but considering all their talk about balanced romance options and the guy to chick ratio, at least half of these guys probably won't be romances (and if I know Bioware like I think I do, big horned kossith with a scar across his face isn't the safest bet) *sigh.

I really hope (if Solas is a romance) he's bi. Until now I can't bring myself to complete a run with a omosexual character (tried both Zevran and Leliana)  I simply can't relate well, I don't know. I end up bored so I leave the character to start another one.

 

Maybe I simply haven't found a character I'd like so much to really find engaging a omosexual romance. I prefer romance females characters with males PC as an alternative to females straight romances, and both Leli and Zev can be romanced with a opposite gender, so maybe I end up bored because I know I can romance them in the way I prefer.

but if a character is only gay/lesbian, maybe I can overcome my limit, and enjoy a run with a homosexual character. Or maybe no. I ended up not importing a femshep who romanced thane with Kaidan dead because even if I like Traynor, I don't really find any appeal nor in her, nor in Liara.

 

I guess only the time will tell

Best-looking two-hander sword in DA2!  I didn't love a lot of them (some of the axes were cool, but I'm not much of an axe girl).  I'm really looking forward to seeing the new batch of weapons, considering how much more time they've had for everything.  It's funny, I look at the pics from DA2 now and then compare them to the DA:I screenshots, and there's just such a HUGE jump in the quality of the graphics...and then I get excited all over again. 

 

I've given up trying to guess how the LIs are going to be distributed.  For some reason I've got it in my head that Dorian is gay, but I know it's mostly because I've also got it in my head that he's Freddie Mercury.  I blame Ymirr's beautiful, sassy depictions.   But if he's available to my femquisitor, you won't hear me complaining!  I just hope Solas is an LI, and I'll work with it. Sera is totally going to be one, she's too adorable not to be.

Agreed on all of the above!  Right now, I'm more concerned with who's going to make up my main party (I do a little switching in and out, but there's always a core group), and I've got too many people I want to bring.  It's going to drive me crazy...but it's a good problem to have, I guess!

 

I hope they do reveals over the weekend. They had just enough days to get all four parts of the trope in if they included the weekend, so...my fingers are crossed!

I think Solas is "the brains", and I think we'll be getting a character reveal for him either today or tomorrow.
