Poor thing...I hope you got something to help with the burning(other than applesauce),I think I've changed my mind now I was going to try to make some myself but now...no! I can handle Solas being spicy but eating spicy food is not good for me lol

Oh I am TOTALLY making this now. I have an insane tolerance for spicy things and this sounds awesome.
How I did mine:
I bought like 4 peppers (you don't need many, I found mine at Kroger, but not all Kroger have them)
I cut them up and cooked them on pan on the stove with a little bit of coconut oil until they got soft. Then I added some butter and sugar and let that carmalize with the peppers. Then I put them on a cooling rack over the sink (so the goo would drain).
I ate one once they cooled/hardened

Yeah, best to avoid water, all it does is help spread the spicy around more.
Hadn't heard of the applesauce method, but I do know milk and beer are good liquid solutions. Also, sour cream and cheese can help, too. Anytime my husband decides to be all Mr. Spicy in the kitchen, I dump cheese and sour cream on whatever it is and it helps A LOT (I can't really do spicy, tastes horrible to me).

as strange as it sound...bread. a good piece of bread help. (I have some friends from Calabria that sometimes give me some of their salse...and bread is the only thing that help ) better if with butter.

I'm glad it did! I looked up the heat rating of scotch bonnets and they rank about 100,000 on the scoville scale. That means they're about forty times hotter than jalapeno peppers. You are a braver human than I!

I was looking on the Wiki and in Guyana, Scotch Bonnet is called BALL OF FIRE .
