GUYS! Guys! I totally had a Solas dream last night!

 

You are so lucky! I had a dream that I was solving some murder CSI style then all of a sudden I was zipping myself up in a sleeping bag so I won't get obliterated by an atomic bomb...wha? What is this nonsense! *laughs at self*

Eeeek, I am SO stoked for the demo.  I can't decide whether I'm more excited to see our Femquisitor or to possibly hear Solas's voice...and just hope we actually do get some bald elf action   At this point, I think I might actually screech a little if/when we do get to hear him speak *tries not to get hopes up*

Another welcome from a fellow former lurker! Totally agree that the fans are the nicest. I lurked here a lot, too.

 

It'd be wonderful to see more Solas. I doubt we'll get dialogue out of any of the characters aside from the Inquisitor, but maybe we'll get some battle cries?

 

I'd be perfectly happy if all we hear in the demo from Solas is his occasional grunt or scream in combat, I was really surprised to hear that too in the trailer where they were fighting the high dragon. I'm just so curious (and maybe a bit desperate) to hear anything at all from this guy by now. You can do it Solas, show yourself to us!

Edit: Also, I'm curious as to how we are all pronouncing Solas's name! Do you guys pronounce it like the word "solace" or more like Mordin's last name in Mass Effect, which to me sounds uncomfortably close to the word "soulless." lol

I think in my head I tend to pronounce it 'So-luss', so pretty similar to Mordin's name.  I guess we'll find out the truth when we ~eventually~ hear someone address him in-game or the devs talk about him.

I swear I didn't even get half of the information. I was too busy staring at the gameplay, trying to hear the voices, and generally being like:

I did!  I think it's perfect! She still walks like a woman, but they toned it down a little from DA2. And Lady Qunquisitor is so lovely and tall. And horned.

And,  HUGS to Laidlaw, more companion interaction, more romances and it is possible to tick all but one of them off so they leave.  SQUEEE.

OMG, that dragon fight, though. Wow. My husband was rolling his eyes at me the whole time staring at my face because several times my jaw was dropping and I was all pop-eyed watching the demo. LOLOL
