Yes. You are wrong. Littlefinger is terrible. Just kidding. Not about the Littlefinger being terrible part though, he really is gross. I do like his voice though.

 

But since you brought up VAs, I was watching Warlock the other day for the millionth time, and I thought someone like Richard E. Grant might be a good fit. Not with his Redferne voice (character in Warlock), that would be a bit too much. But his speaking voice is very low key and intelligent sounding.

I haven't caught up with the thread yet (so close!) but if he voiced Solas I could listen to him ramble on about Fade and magic lore all day, regardless of his LI status.

I just realised how weird it would be having Mark Meer as Solas now that Alix Wilton Reagan is a Quizzy option.

I think Blake Ritson from Dark Souls (as Griggs of Vinheim and Artorias the Abysswalker) and Da Vinci's Demons (as Riario) would be a good voice for Solas.

And everyone, they should even voice the women and the animals because dat voice tho *swoons.*

 

 

Anyway, it'd be really nice to hear what Solas sounds like.

well, not true...Sera, Iron Bull, Vivienne, and BlackWall had an entire trailer for them...Sera we know she is a LI and her orientations, and she and Iron Bull both have some information in the official site, and we have seen all of them but BlackWall at the E3 demos.

 

not that I'm unhappy, I'm quite happy to have seen them, but I would have liked to see a little more about Solas...(at least more than him climbing a ladder. still good to see, by the way. I like this improvement in the actions)

It'll be like Iron Bull and his endless back shots. From here on out, we're only going to get butt/thigh shots for Solas. Which...has its merits. 

 

Has anyone modified their ideas about who they'll be putting in their regular party given the new info? Because I'm now completely confused about what I want to do. I hadn't counted on liking Sera so much, but after listening to her banter with IB, I really want her in my party. Cass and Sera might be a funny combo...I imagine Sera will poke at her.

Originally, I was thinking I'd go with Cassandra, Solas, and Varric as my first playthrough "main party". But then The Iron Bull's info came out and I decided to switch out Cassandra for him. And then Blackwall had info come out and I REALLY like what he's all about, so I changed again.

 

My initial thoughts on my first three playthroughs are:

 

1. Blackwall, Solas, Varric

 

2. Cassandra, "Cole", Dorian

 

3. Iron Bull, Sera, Vivienne

 

But what's most likely going to happen is Varric and Solas will be my "permanent" first time party members and the third slot will switch out a bunch as I try folks out or take someone who seems important/related to the quest at-hand. I'd also like to really see the banter that may exist with both Solas and "Cole" in the party together, or Solas and Sera, or Cassandra and Vivienne, or Varric and Iron Bull, etc.

 

I dunno. Pretty fluid about it at this point, other than attaching Varric firmly to my hip like I did in DA2.

Solas and Cole are going to be my regular party members.  For the third, I keep waffling between Cass and Blackwall...  I really like Cass, but Blackwall's Grey Warden stuff really interests me, so I imagine there's going to be a fair amount of switching there.  But it isn't like I won't play with the others, I imagine it'll be similar to the way I play DA:O and DA2 where I'll use different parties by whim or circumstances.

I'm still going to have Solas in my party for probably most of my playthrough,though I will switch him out for Dorian a time or 2! 

I will take turns on all of them though!

On a sad note and off-topic I just found out Rik Mayall from the movie "Drop Dead Fred" the actor that played him was found dead....*sigh* GOD rest his soul!

Ha! I know, I love Varric...ugh, it's going to be difficult for me to decide. I know I'll do some switching out, especially at first as I get to know them. I'm thinking Cass, Solas, Sera for my first playthrough, but I may switch IB in for Cass. Either way, it leaves a nice spot for my stabby, sarcastic rogue. The fact that I'm super interested in all three mages is kind of killing me.
