The DA2, the feathers on Ander's coat were from a sort of bird and helped with magic or spellpower or something. His mission in Mark of the Assassin is to collect more of them.

I'll need to take him with me next time then. I've romanced Anders a few times and I've also took him along for Legacy. I ended purchasing MotA last, so I've only done that twice. I was romancing Isabela in one and Merrill in the other. I'll have to try that with an Anders romance. Thank you!
He and I think Fenris are very sweet if you romance them and bring them along.

I noticed that in the 30 min gameplay that many of the spells Vivienne used had the glyph as part of the spells animation.Is that a backpack he is wearing?
Also, that spell is pretty cool with the glyph.

I find the elves are still pretty silly looking in the art they've released for DA:I. Not as bad as DA2 though. Couldn't care less though as long as this guy is a well written and interesting character.
I liked the DA2 design. The Dalish in particular seemed more animal-like, deer-like (or halla) to be exact. Before I knew that elf/human children are always human, I presumed the more humanlike ones, like Tallis and the father from Magistrate's Orders, had more human in their bloodline.
Anything is better than the DA:O design. My current elven mage Warden looks like a skinny human... Meh.
DA2's design would've been really awesome if they had spent more time on the random mook NPC looks.
Like DA:I's design, though. Seems, so far, like a good mix.

I really hope that Solas is nothing like Legolas. I don't mind the character, but I always felt that Legolas was just boring, even in the books. An amazing warrior in combat, very bland outside of it.
I'm not gonna lie, he looks awesome. Very curious about his backstory.
