You can always make him wear a fabulous mage hat.
...The second mod I ever installed was the No-Helmet hack for Origins. I wouldn't wish those hideous helms on anyone. A circlet, on the other hand, I think would look great on him.

There are so many options when you are bald:

You can always make him wear a fabulous mage hat.

Okay, I have to ask. Is there any companion at all revealed so far that you actually look forward to seeing? I'm asking because I've seen you in the various companion threads (Vivienne's, Iron Bull's, here, "Sera's") and you don't have almost anything positive to say so far.
...I thought I was being rather positive towards the Iron Bull concept; aside from my apprehension towards the possibility of him being a rogue, he's far and away my favorite concept for a new character and I have high hopes for him in the actual game.
I'm also rather interested in the Bearded Warden, who looks like a really interesting character and someone I'd like to get to know.
Sera is someone I could see really liking, as well, I'm just leery because I think that type of humor is something that requires walking a fine line and can easily go sour. So while I've very open towards that character being a positive, I'm more trying to prepare myself for the possibility of them getting it wrong.
I was very interested in the Dorian concept, moreso when it was possibly connected to this elf here, but if, say, Mr. Mustache turns out to be Dorian, I'd still be interested. Just as you want to learn about Orlesian politics from a member of their courts, I want to learn about Tevinter from a former magister, rather than a former slave.

Well hopefully we get good looking mage headwear this time.
I'm sorry, I just can't get over the baldness. Bald elf looks like Nosferatu waaaay too much.
Oh crap. CAN'T UNSEE.

I'm with you

Thank you for letting me know.
That's fair enough and I did read the post you made a bit ago about the Iron Bull.
Eluv you're so mean XD

No problem.
Like I said in the Viveinne thread, Viv is really the only character I'm going into this thinking that I'm really not going to like, and even then, I'm open to the possibility of Bioware proving me wrong and making me like her, anyway.
With Solas... he just seems kind of bland from what little(next to nothing) we know about him. He might actually be a perfectly interesting, likable character and I'm certainly not biased against him. Just, as it stands, there's nothing to him that grips me.

You mean like almost every other companion since all we have to go in fan speculation at this point?

Ears isn't right. This will suffice:

Fair point.
All of it is a gut reaction at this point. I look at Iron Bull, I look at the Bearded Warden, I look at Sera, and they all interest me. They spark my curiosity and I want to know more.
With Solas...I'm just kinda "eh." He's there. That's about it. The Dorian concept being attached to him made me more interested due to the intriguing possibilities of an elven magister, an exile magister at that. But without that, all I'm getting from him is a "meh".
I'm certainly not trying to spread this view. To those who do find him interesting, who are intrigued by him, I say more power to you. And I certainly hope that as new information becomes available he does become more interesting to me(primarily because I'm decently sure he and Viv will be our only mages and I'd rather have him around than her.)
Tamlen? Is that you?
Thanks for making my day, or rather night. Now i can retire happily *mad chuckle*
I'm 90% certain that if he had hair, Solas would have a lot more people in here excited about him.
As an add-on, what do you think his natural hair color is? I'm thinking blond since it usually is obvious when someone with dark hair shaves their head. Or he could just be full on no hair left bald. Not sure!
Too soon, too soon!Tamlen? Is that you?
Sadly, I think you are right.I'm 90% certain that if he had hair, Solas would have a lot more people in here excited about him.
Every time someone shaves their hair in tribute, three hairs grow on Solas's head. If enough of us participate, he will have the most beautiful mane of long, thick, luscious hair that you have ever seen.
Sadly, I think you are right.
Why not just give him hair and make everyone happy? Sometimes I wonder why the people in BW insist on things that annoy people, like the ending of ME3.

Maybe because it's important to his character and how devs see him?
