Yeah we are a friendly bunch no doubt about that it's just I saw him in the Dorian thread awhile ago answering a question going on there about Jennifer Hepler writing Cassandra...it's really no big deal I was just curious ,it was probably a dumb question to ask in the first place. 

Naw, it's not dumb. I just think either we don't cause enough drama OR the times someone other than Alan is around there's not much going on. Though, wasn't Gaider in the separate forum where people were expressing their dislike towards Solas and his bald head? Like someone said before, I guess most show themselves to break up fights and clear up issues.
 

Clearly he wrote the character and doesn't want to give himself away.

Yeah that was in another thread I just never have seen him in this thread...but I guess since we are good Bioware forum citizens there is no need for him to come here!

I'm thinking (hoping) that Dorian is gay, Solas is bi and IB is the 'extra' LI (and thus, as an extra, is likely to be race-gated). 

 

But like many of you, I'm bracing myself to hear that Solas isn't a LI at all. 

I'm hoping that Dorian is gay too because he doesn't interest me that much at the moment. So if he is gay then maybe Solas is bi and I can romance him with my female PC. But I would like it more if Solas would be gay than not LI at all because then I could romance him with my male PC. I haven't had any male PCs in ME and DA series so that would be something.

Or the outfit with him in the black vest. I realized I pretty much always draw him in that black vest despite not having a good reference picture for it. Though if we got him in another outfit combination I'd say his outfit choices are beginning to rival Viviennes. (Though not as fashionable) Wonder if he ends up dressing Cole considering what I've seen him wearing...

I'm going to take a bet here and say that he'll be the LI. While I'm not particularly attracted to him, I think he'd definitely be interesting to romance! I, too, am from the south. Although some argue that Florida isn't really "southern", but that is because it has different parts/areas. We definitely have our "south" parts.

While true, Cole's profile page went live several minutes before they blasted out anything on social media, so...

 

*sigh* I had hoped to be the one to triumphantly come in here with news of a live Solas profile page, but I have to actually leave and get back to work. It is not to be.

(Note, thisis not what will happen or even what I expect but what I hope for based on various hinting from devs and such. When they announced gender preferences but choices, 6 possible LI made sense, but with the reveal of some racial impact on love interests, I think that has opened up the number of possibilities to allow for choice as well. What can I say, I'm being optimistic!)

 

My ideal Romance Interest fallout would be as follows:

 

Solas for some crazy reason is my first choice, he can be straight or bi because I don't mind sharing. I think if his personality is a spicy introver then I suspect he will become a favorite like Alistair or Fenris and make it hard to choose others. 

 

Cullen is up next. I really like the possibility of growth in our templar and his attitude towards mages never really bothered me like it did some. Maybe because I rarely play a mage. Maybe because I think being tortured by mages would mess with you a bit. (or a lot) He can be bi or straight, I'm good either way!

 

Varric for the female dwarves and Iron Bull for any Qunari. Those would be my play through for them and would give me motivation to play races I would not be likely to choose.  (If we have Dagna as a NPC maybe she can balance Varric if straight)

 

Dorian for a male Inquisitor if he is gay. That would suit me just fine. If he is bi, then I will romance him as a female but I'm okay if he is the one that is gender gated. 

 

I can't remember the last time I was this impatient for a game. I love all of the companion profiles so far and can't wait to meet them in game. I suspect that I will have to fight my natural urge for a default party and if it plays out like I hope then I suspect I will have many different Inquisitors. I think my favorites are going to be Solas, Cole and Varric but I am prepared to be surprised in a good way with everyone else. Sera and Iron Bull have really peaked my interest as well, with the information that has been revealed.
