We could easily do Solas Discussion and Speculation: [Subtitle of peoples' choice]. A good few of the other character threads have that system. Sometimes their subtitle changes to reflect new info too.
That would be great, I always giggle at the titles when they do that 
I'm fine with a new thread, but as the others say, I wouldn't like to loose all our pages. 
it a mod can merge all our pages in the new thread, I would be much more happy 
Would really only like it if we can merge the old thread with a new one.

I'm the same. I totally understand EliteP wanting to hand over the reins, but I'd be so sad to lose our lovely 300+ pages here. So if we can merge and/or alter who the OP is, I'd be up for that.
And I feel you on the safety of this thread; this is pretty much the only thread I post in regularly and even though Cassandra is my main girl I rarely even look in her thread because it tends to be hostile. The warmth and friendliness and lack of nastiness is what makes the Solas thread so special
I feel the same but if they can merge this thread with the new one I guess I'm okay with it if not..... 
But like you said I understand if the OP wants someone else to take it over since she/he isn't too fond of Solas. I would volunteer but I would be a nervous wreck as I have never lead a thread like this before. lol
I support who ever wants to lead the thread (as long as they have respect for our Handsome elf)

Edit: @Solas It seems most people want to keep the thread and just change the op but if that's not possible then I think the thread should stay as is unless anyone disagrees?

I'm alright with a fresh new thread! I'm not too concerned about the page count and then that way we'll get rid of the negativity of the first few posts of this thread

I definitely agree it would be good to get shot of the early negativity...b-b-but I don't want to let go of this thread! *clings to thread* I'm conflicted
