I'm happy he is bald and does not look "attractive". Not everyone in our party should be sexy they make you swoon.

Different strokes I guess.  He looks attractive to me, and he just isn't another pretty boy.  Don't get me wrong: I love looking at some pretty men.  Yet, both Solas and the Warden seem more handsome and average in their looks.  I honestly like that.

He isn't a pretty boy, but I find nothing wrong with Solas' looks either. I am waiting for the voice actor announcements.

I'm not sure if Cilve Owen does voice acting.  My choice was Kevin Conroy, who did the voice of Batman from the animated series.

That just makes me think of Peter Warner, the guy that did Ra's Ah Gul or however you spell it. Now THAT was a voice. Of course, anytime I hear it I think of, "Ah... the Child of Bhaal has awoken... shall we continue our... experiments?"

Vivienne and Cass would only have disagreements about methods, i suppose. So that leaves only Solas as a sole symbol of mage freedom. Ironic.

 

I hope that is Solas's view. If so, he won't stand alone in my game!

Kevin Conroy does have an Awesome voice that's for sure. I know Clive Owen voice acted on "How to Train your Dragon" movie not sure about video games though.....

I initially thought Solas might be Dalish, given his name. I'm not really too sure about his personality since we don't have much to go on, besides his name and hid penchant for pants; I might have a better guess if I knew if he was Dalish, or one of the myriad of city elves.

I love deep voices, but I could also see Solas with a higher (midrange, not high) voice with a slightly... nasal quality to it.  Fenris already had that rich, deep, beautiful voice.  Solas seems so small and lithe, I could see Bioware going away from the tiny elf/deep voice thing.

When I saw him in concept art, he gave the impression of being kind of older than most of the characters, if not old- mid thirties to early fourties at first, but I thought he had a relatively aged sort of look. it might be the baldness, admittedly, and maybe the clothes he wears in the concept art- he somehow looks a bit younger to me with the outfit he's wearing in the screenshots? Or maybe just smaller. But anyway, because of that I imagined him with a rather deep, mature kind of voice, if not quite as deep as Fenris'.

Which is awesome. While I don't think he's attractive that does not mean I don't care about the character. He looks interesting so far just because of his clothing, and I hope Bioware does more of this. I'm never a fan of the "pretty boy".

Liara and Samantha weren't shitty. I don't think Garrus or Kaidan would have been either, but it's true that there were markedly fewer romances for women than for straight men.
