Heh, always been that way. My husband turned 42 last month.   I was one of those horrible people who, while thinking Alistair was smexy, was really eyeing Loghain's backside a bit harder.

And as Divine Justinia pointed out, it stands for "love interest". One thing you'll learn quickly here is that if it's in the game, people will want to shag it.

I really don't care whether he is or isn't, all I care about is if my preferred LI isn't actually a LI.

Im starting to think that concept art of all the companions may be accurate. I hope not, i still want at least one more female, 6 males to 3 females isnt what i'd like to see plus 5 of those characters are human, why not take advantage of the races being a bigger part of the game?

DA:O had the same ratio, unless you count Shale as a female. DAII only had 3 females too, if you don't count Bethany considering how little of the game she was in.

I've been eyeballing a certain dwarf for a loooong time now. However, not gonna hold out hope. Not sure how much of a hussy that would make me, to come between him and his precious crossbow...

Yeah but DA2 had 3 females, 3 males, if you don't count Sebatian (I know some people didn't preorder the game) It's a bit more balanced.

That's fine, though. He can keep pining for her or the memory of her, whatever the case may be. I'll just be over here not-at-all-creepily sniffing his trench coat after he beds down for the night...

He looks a rather promising character,though I am more inclined to agree with the apostate theory rather than the magister one.

He looks rather simple, for someone who has power and status.Can't say for sure though after all If the exiled magister=Dorian speculation is correct then life away from the Imperium may have changed him...

If he's not Dorian, I could see him being some sort of apostate. 

 

Another piece of concept art that I found might show Bald Elf Guy, and it's titled "Apostates", but I didn't put it in the OP because it's hard to tell whether this person is actually him:

 

 

 

I'm surprised i didn't see this before in this piece of artwork but that seems to be an Inquisitor type coming out of the tent on the right. Makes me think that Mr. Elfy Mcbald shaggypants is actually an Apostate who will be the counter-point to Vivienne's Pro-circle stance.

That doesn't really mean anything other than that they've done it before. Making it 5:4 would be interesting and expand the personalities a bit more

There's numerous other reasons why I think he isn't Dorian, but anyway Elite you do remember Maveris mentioned other healers right, to be clear she heard rumors of Dalish healers powerful enough to graft spirt on to flesh to restore life.

I think it's likely he is one of the ones she was talking about, also considering the fact that Vivienne appears to be a damager I think he would fit the role as a healer especially if he is one of those Dalish healers.

It is absolutely shameful how much that made me laugh.

 

That being said, I think he'll be an interesting character.  I don't understand why so many are getting caught up on the whole "bald" thing though.  I don't think it looks bad at all, but I do question how someone has the time to keep his head shaven during a war.

It isn't him; the guy on the artwork has round ears

 

Also the guy exiting the tent is most likely just a bloke with a hood, we don't see the distinctive mak of the inquisitor (the red cloth on the waist)
