Something seem off about him... ok maybe screenshots don't make him justice but he look like a pretty generic character... i hope his final design is much closer to this concept art

 

 

I don't know what everyone's arguing about, but I have the distinct impression that Solas started it because he's the only one who seems pleased by it.

 

Alternatively, he hates that particular part of the Ameranthine Ocean just as much as the Inquisitor does.

While I personally think Solas would be prettier with an elfhawk, I don't think he looks especially generic...or that this is a bad thing. Nathaniel didn't look that different from other random humans. Sigrun looked like lots of other casteless. Even Alistair looked pretty "generic". Companions only really stand out when we meet them in game, and in sure Solas will do that, with or without hair.

He does look like he started the chaos in that concept art. Everyone is upset or arguing and he's just standing back there in the mist and shadows with that pleased look on his face like "yes, dance. Dance like the puppets you are."

 

Also, whenever I look at that picture I think Mr. Mustache is trying to fix his hair instead of throwing his arms up in frustration.

Agreed, I don't see him as particularly generic.  When I put my thumb over his hair in the war room picture he actually looks more interesting.  He seems less juvenile and has more impact when I cover it up.

Yup. The only rumoured so far out of the thirties range are Sera and Cole.

This, this, this! Seriously, so many people are judging these characters from their looks and the game's doesn't even have an offical release date yet. Sure he's bald, sure he's got elf ears. So what?! We know next to nothing about him. So why not wait. and. see!

Dawn of the Seeker presented her as a mid to late teen, and DAI is two decades later, i could see early forties, depending upon just how old she was when it occurred, but its speculative.
