Like in two weeks she would be forty, i could see.

She was supposed to be in her mid to late teens in DotS, which happened in 9:22. DAI will be set in 9:40-41, so there's 18-19 years between them. She's at max 38.

Didn't know that, but I was wrong on DotS, it was in 9:22, so she'd still be 38 at max.

Yeah they're all up there in age this time around. Varric is in his early 40s I think, Cass is almost 40, Solas doesn't exactly look like a young-un and neither do Vivienne and Iron Bull. Cullen, if he is a companion, is probably in his late 30s too. Grey Warden looks like he's in his 40s and Mr. Mustache looks like he's in his 30s. "Sera" might be the only one in her 20s in the entire party, if she's confirmed.

As I said before, I thought the same. I checked the wikia to be sure and I found out it's set in 9:22.

Batrand looked mid to late 30s in act one and he was the older brother, there are a few years between them given he was born on the Surface, but I'd say if Varric isn't rapidly approaching the threshold, he is already there

We don't know how dwarf years scale with human years though, do we? 40 years old could make him an equivalent to a human late twenty-something.

So he is forty as of DAI.

Varric's father, Andvar Tethras, was exiled during Kind Endrin Aeducan's second year of reign, which was at 8:98 Blessed and died 5 years later, in 9:3 Dragon, when Varric was 2. That makes Varric being born in 9:1 Dragon.

If the concept is the one with cassandra, that happened at the end of DA2, not at the start.
I'll try to find the date of there is somewhere.

It's not easy to say with Bartrand, the beard makes everyone looks older .
Te theory of dwarves years not scaling as humans is an interesting one.

That explains his older look in the previews then. The new engine does middle aged better. =p

I initially thought Solas might be Dalish, given his name. I'm not really too sure about his personality since we don't have much to go on, besides his name and hid penchant for pants; I might have a better guess if I knew if he was Dalish, or one of the myriad of city elves.

He might be dalish but I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be one of the city elves...just have to wait and see, now his personality I kinda hope he has a bit of a sarcastic side to him but has a good heart.....ugh but that's just me

I think they would get along. Varric is not hard to get along with...unless you are possessed or just a down right mean piece of turd!
