I like what I'm seeing with him thus far, and am intrigued about how he turns out to be as a companion ingame. His lankiness is interesting, and that brief glimpse of him running [viewed from behind] made me think of actors like James Coburn and Jimmy Stewart.

With my luck Solas, Cullen, and the bearded Grey Warden meet my Inquisitor, charm her pants off (figuratively), then proclaim their celibacy and swear off romance forever.  This is usually what happens when I get my hopes up.

 

I wonder how Solas became a Fade expert?  Does he live in isolation and just... spend a lot of time there or something?  Has he learned from another master?

Oh that wasn't including the ladies! I'm hoping for Cass and Vivienne, though I get the distinct feeling that Vivienne won't be an LI. She doesn't seem like the type who looks for a relationship.

I really hope it doesn't end up like that... also last time I picked an LI from a BioWare game my LI ended up D-E-A-D  (Thane)

 

And that's a good question...he could be a hermit or from what I've seen of his clothes or long johns he looks as if he could be from a family of servants? He could have learned from a master or from a Family member?...ugh so many questions lol!

Cass looks like the type to be near a blushing school girl when it comes to romance, but that's me.

 

It would fit with her character somewhat though, She likely hasn't been committed to any relations beyond MAYBE style situation provided by Dawn of the Seeker, but again she takes duty very seriously, even if they had pursued a romantic entanglement i couldn't see it as anything beyond a casual and short fling that ultimately was cast aside for duty due to the fact, she is a nomadic warrior in service to the Chantry, and her boytoy is a mage, toss two decades into the mix and i see her being a bit bashful about things of that nature.

 

Not against them per say given that the Chantry only forbids that in people who are avowed and Templar and Seeker both aren't so...I can see her being both inexperienced and slightly hesitant about the notion but not against it, in so far as duty comes first for both parties. That said i'd would think it would be near impossible for a blood mage to romance the poor girl.

I disagree with people who say that she's too duty focused or "harsh" to be an LI. I'll honestly be really surprised if it turns out Cassandra isn't a choice. She's the no bullshit type but I could definitely see her softening up around an Inquisitor trying to romance her. I agree with you that duty would come first, though, and I hope they really make her stand strong on that and have lines that the Inquisitor can't cross if they want to stay in a romance with her. I can't at all see her compromising what she thinks is right out of a crush on someone she hasn't known for all that long.

She devoted herself to a religious institution for the past two decades, serious changes would need occur to make her actually put something ahead of that, she as i said likely would be a bit hesitant to engage in a romance during the combating of the veil tear but i could see it occurring if the Inquisitor pushed and Cass agreed to it. That i wouldn't be overly surprised if it was possible for her to pick the PC over the Chantry later in the romance if conflict came from them being together, assuming the Inquisitor had met criteria and what have you.

 

Honestly even with out the prospect of potentially ending up on a throne if romancing her, I'd see view her's as likely to be one of the most interesting just to likely how complex and intricate that scenario would be and how PC's could interact with it. Doesn't hurt that i like her accent or visuals either.

I remember doing this for ME3 back in the day. Combing the forums for new info and rumors over half a year away from release. We were all so hopeful, so excited....so wrong about so many things. It's kind of depressing to look back and think about. And yet here I am doing it again!

Well, he's Scotch bonnet candy, sweet and spicy.  I imagine you get the sweet and maybe easy going side until you (or in this case, Vivienne) pisses him off.  Then you get the fire!

Oh I never said he'd just take it, just that he'd be teased. If a cherished piece of clothing of Vivienne's somehow ends up a little bit charred after that conversation, Solas will just tell her that oops, his hand slipped.
