Thanks Nefia, and i just noticed from screenshots of him - he's not really bald, he shaves his head, much as Vivienne. Funny how it slipped my mind.

By the way, earlier in the thread we were discussing his clothing options and I forgot about this.

I just noticed that he switches between going barefoot and wearing shoes in those options. Seems like they stuck with the shoes in game!

Maybe, yeah. There was something in that xbox thread about how rogues can wear mage robes, mages can wear armor etc. I assume that in doing so they'll retain their unique look so that could be what is going on there.

I think we'll be given a choice. I don't know if I like elves going shoeless, but I like choices. Poor Merrill didn't have a choice.

Those do look much better than the long johns but the long johns are so silly, I might keep him wearing them in the game, who knows? XD

Some of them is kind of a pale Assassins Creed outfit. I love AC clothing...

There is part of me that is wondering if these characters are all actually bald or if they're just bald because they haven't modeled their in game hair yet. Like how ME3's Ash was hairless in some alpha stuff while they fiddled with her hair mesh.

I hadn't seen the full size image before so I never got a good look at his face, thanks   His face, and lips especially, in the armor image immediately made me think of Shinzon/Tom Hardy in Star Trek Nemesis.  (This might have just been an excuse to look at pictures of Tom Hardy though)

The overlapping pattern of his soleless boots is like Merrill's.  Is that pattern what we see on a lot of Dalish shoes?  Also, he only wears his necklace/knifey looking thing with the soleless shoe armor variations.  Any ideas on what it is/means?

 

I've grown quite attached to our little elf and his shiny bald head    I guess he can grow hair if he wants, but my Inquisitor wouldn't dream of asking him to!

I always assumed his head was shaved. I personally love the buzzed look. It just says "badass" to me. My favorite outfits of his on the model pic are the ones with the "tooth" necklace. Maybe he's from nevarra. His name is Solas which is a city bordering Nevarra and Tevinter. Could be a dragon tooth or something.

What if both Solas and Varric are LIs? How...how will I choose for my "canon" playthrough? HOW COULD I CHOOSE???? That decision would probably keep me up at night, I swear.
