The hate going both ways gets so boring!  He'd look good with hair, he looks good without.  He's a handsome little guy in general and in that close up shot of him he looks masculine while maintaining his petite elfiness.

The hate going both ways gets so boring!  He'd look good with hair, he looks good without.  He's a handsome little guy in general and in that close up shot of him he looks masculine while maintaining his petite elfiness.

Well I think he looks pretty bad without the hair, but I don't see any reason to harp on it. I think the devs have gotten the idea ... some of us like it, some of us don't. 

 

I'll continue hoping he gets some hair (that sounds so funny, lol) and hoping he's not a LI if he doesn't, but in the meantime I'm curious about his character and how he'll fit into the story. After all, if he's truly awesome (and very few BW characters aren't), I'll just plunk a hat on him and call it a day!

I feel kind of bad for people who are bald with the way people are acting about Solas being bald. Good grief, I've seen some people act like the world will end if he's a LI. It's one thing to not be attracted to bald people and it's another to act like they're hideous aliens!

 

Hell, I'm not attracted to baldness but I think Solas is handsome beyond it. A guy being shorter than me is not attractive to me at all but my Inquisitor would be all over Varric if he was a choice!

Ahh I've seen PLENTY of complaints about that as well, actually.

In Viv's case, her baldness makes sense. Orlesians seem to love wigs, and it'd be easier to wear a wig with little/no hair. Same with her Maleficent-cosplay hat.

Fenris's green puppy eyes were certainly cute but the whole elf look just felt kind of out of place, to me.

I was personally more bugged by that Navi nose more than the eyes.

But when you look at the curvature of their surface relative to their size, you realise that they'd have to be as big as rockmelons. Rockmelons.

I can definitely see why someone wouldn't find him attractive, I guess I just have a hard time containing my excitement Hopefully if he is a LI, he's written so well that people can romance him anyway.  The LIs in the previous two games were appealing to me, but I can imagine I'd feel a little disappointed if I didn't have any romance options I found attractive or interesting.  I'd cope with it, obviously, but it might take the wind out of my sails if there wasn't a romance I really felt excited about pursuing.

 

Do you think they'll announce the LIs or just let us figure it out?

Yeah, the part that gets awkward for me is when people imply he'll be more attractive if Bioware tells us that his head is shaved and not naturally hairless.  It feels awkward because there are plenty of bald/balding men and women and it could be hurtful to read the hate.

I can't understand the comparison between the DA2 elves and the Na'vi... they look totally different
