Gay romance is certainly more intriguing...then again, I am a tad bit biased.
I have no idea what the Sebastian romance is like, because I never played a female Hawke.
It's like dating a really cute but boring puppy named Sherman, minus the constant licking of the face. It was also the last time I RP'd as a girl, I just couldn't deal with FemHawke's voice. Solas though, I really hope he's one of the more playersexual romances. I like his facial features, very scholarly with a hint of smugness. I wonder what hides behind it.

Tbh I actually find real life het relationships difficult to enjoy as well; I kind of gave up on them a few years ago, although at this point it's more of a "I'm fine being single but if my dream socially progressive hot Russian mechanic future boyfriend shows up, I'll take him" situation.
Also I don't really gender identify, so it's just more fun to play gay and lesbian romances, even though I'm attracted to only guys.

Me toooo. Many people are whining about Solas being boring looking but something about him just has this cool air to it. It's partially the mystery but I just keep wondering. WHY is his design so plain? What is he hiding? How is it that someone who looks as unassuming as him could have a personality like candied, extremely hot peppers? He intrigues the hell out of me!

See, that's the problem of you going defensive at once, while i never stated being negative about it. And trust me, feeling pitiful is not the way to go, at least you can openly talk about your differences and state your preferences, if only on the boards (i'm not presuming). Some don't have that luxury.
