If I remember correctly, they released information about love interests on Valentine's Day, and the game came out in early March. So . . . less than a month before release.
Edited to add: though I think a couple of characters were "known" to be romancable before it was officially released (like Isabela, I think).

Everything is up in the air but damn if that food comparison doesn't sound compelling. I just want to know more about him!
I'm thinking he'll be the next character shown just because we've seen screenshots of him in game recently, which is more than we can say for Sera and Iron Bull. It feels like they set him up to be the next reveal.
The downside of that is that I do not remember us getting any screens of Vivienne. I could be wrong. So we might get teased with images, but not get a full reveal until much later.

Since we're already on the subject of love interests, I concur with the person a page back who said that they hoped Solas and Dramatic Hands Mustache Guy are the two male love interests. Especially if DHMG is the Dorian of the survey. I love love LOVE the idea of two romancable male mages.
This waiting for character info, any character info, is AGONIZING. I feel like a ravenous dog begging for scraps right now. I act like all I want is a tiny morsel of info to tide me over, but the moment they give it to me I'll beg for more.

I'm trying to put my finger on why mage men are so appealing... maybe it's knowing that they're powerful and potentially unpredictable, even dangerous. Also, it's always exhilarating to discover something unexpected about someone, mage or not. Snarky, skinny, seemingly unassuming Solas could turn out to be sweet and be terrifyingly strong in the Fade. The visually rugged, muscular, manly man Warden could be emotionally lost and looking for someone to help him find his way. I mean, you don't need every character to develop this way (it might have a lot less impact), but I wouldn't mind a smattering of it amongst our companions

Maybe because you are subconsciously think of magically augmented... abilities? Hate to break to you, but mages aren't known for fine physical shape, so the need to recompense with what they're good at, is there. Lingering

Also better my luck to get myself into this mess...This is the first time I've gone to a RPG game forum before the game ever comes out and I can't keep myself off of here...I blame it on Bioware.

You would think they'd be kind of buff, the way they swing those huge staffs around like they're twigs.
Who are we kidding, they just have the generic human and elf body types anyways XD. Anders and my mage Hawke looked just as buff as Cullen!

Pardon me if this gets weird, but... it might be the excitement of knowing he could throw you around if he really wanted to (in a good way), regardless of how strong he looks. I say "he", because I tend to go for male LIs, but I could see Cassandra in the same light: don't push her too hard or she could put you in your place. Just in case you didn't pick up on this, I'll throw in a few faces for clarity!

Who needs huge biceps when you can just force magic the hell out of anyone you please and set them on fire from afar? You can swing that sword around all you want but it doesn't do much good when Solas fireballs you from far away. I get the feeling he's confident in his abilities too

Personally I don't think Solas will be the character they reveal next, this coming month. I do recall DG saying that his design was still being worked. No, I don't think he'll magically sprout hair (le sigh), but his clothing, eye color, whatever could still be in flux. They may not be prepared to reveal his iconic look.
I think they will go with Iron Bull. A fully complete Iron Bull appeared in The Fires Above trailer. They're ready to display him from an artistic standpoint, I think.

I'm actually glad. I got the feeling that this game was so huge that it wouldn't be able to spend adequate time on a place like Tevinter. Better to cut it and leave it for a game that can really focus on it than cram it into a crowded game.

The LIs I'd root for are Solas and Varric and Cullen, if he's in game. How cool would it be to have almost every race as a male LI choice?

I'm a massive Cullen fan. But yes, I also love the look of Mr. Grey Warden. I do like the thought of a qunari LI, but I don't like Iron Bull's look at all. But it's not so bad that I'd say no to him as a LI for my character (unlike Solas and mustache guy... but not romancing them doesn't mean I won't love them as amazingly written characters, which they shall surely be).

I am currently on team no-one. Not really excited about any of the possible male LIs. I am hoping for a brand new characters that is awesome - looks awesome - and no one have heard of yet.
So far Solas is the only one I might romance.
(and I just cannot handle Cullen. Tsk. If he takes up LI space... VRFSMKFEDNVJDA. @CuriousArtemis, lets not start a Cullen discussion here. We are entitled to our own opinions )
