Honestly, I wouldn't mind either way. As long as whatever hair he gets looks unique in some way, if he does get hair.

 

I agree. It's ridiculous how some are so negative on Solas just because he is bald? He's quite Handsome Bald in my opinion, give the poor character a break we don't even know his personality nor his background yet.  (other than he is described as candied peppers)

 

If he does get hair I hope it's short hair...but if they don't give him hair..that's just fine with me.

From what I've gathered from Gaider the more people complain about or request something the less likely it is to happen. So I would think that if they do give him hair, it will be a design decision that has nothing to do with people's feelings or expectations. I don't have a problem either way, as I've said multiple times already looks aren't going to be a deciding factor for me (unless there is a broodmother companion). So far I've found all the men and women attractive in their own ways. Others clearly don't which is fine but at the same time, seeing people say that being bald is what makes him unattractive is difficult for me to read without cringing.

So I made this because of something funny Phate Phoenix said in the Cullen thread when the possibility of Solas getting hair came up, but I thought I'd drop it here too (because, well, this is the Solas thread!).  Looks like he was born to wear hipster glasses

I think when people think of Nicolas Cage, they focus too much on his ridiculousness. He wasn't a bad looking dude at all when he was younger!

I desperately hope it's Solas!  I wasn't previously interested in Iron Bull info, but It seems like people are starting to second guess their assumption that he's definitely a companion (can't trust much that the OXM wrote) so I'd enjoy hearing about him.  Or Dramatic Hands Mustache Guy.  He might be Tevinter and, dang, have you seen that 'stache?  I'm still not chomping at the bit for Sera though and I'm mildly interested in Bearded Grey Warden.  Hopefully they keep a companion or two totally secret until launch.  That'd be exciting (and infuriating)

 

So yeah: Solas.  Character kit.  GO!

 

Edit:  Until we get more Solas info/images I'll keep doodling what he might look like at an Orlesian ball.  I wish my rusty skills could do him justice!
