Guys, I can't find a good solas wallpaper that's big enough to fill my screen. I don't want the ones with other people in it, unless it's Lavellan. I have a 21 inch monitor. Anyone know of a good one?

All that dalish armor. It's complete s*** that we don't have more options for schematics. I'd like my Quizzy to change her pants every once in a while.

I need this. I seriously love that hipster type of jewelry. Something like this except with a mini-jawbone and in gold or copper .  Also, would love if Lavellan had this, assuming her spirit animal is in fact a hart/stag.

 

I would buy that, I won't lie. I love having little reminders of my favorite characters/games without it being overt to anyone but me!

Solas generally has less content, not just the romance

On my first file the companion scenes are bugged, so I though everyone had few scenes like Solas

But for my second file where everything triggered, I got like 4 scenes for everyone in a row

 

I don't know if they gave him so little content because they were afraid to expose too much about him, or because the will be a DLC or something in the future

Though I certainly hope it's the latter

Maybe. But then you have Cullen who apparently has a lot more romance scenes. And Solas seems to have less non-romance cutscenes than most of the others from what I can tell.

I hate how you don't know what armor looks like until you buy the schematic and go craft it. I thought of buying the Dalish Scout armor schematic, but it was expensive and I had no idea what it looked like.

I hope it's the latter too! I did notice on my second playthrough that he doesn't usually comment on big story missions like everyone else does. You can ask him for advice about Corypheflip, but he doesn't really have the long scenes like the other companions get. The only reason I can think for them to do this is so they can develop his character more later. Everyone else seems pretty "complete" but we know very, very little about Solas. Even less if you do not romance him.

 

I hope it's that, and not that they had less content so we wouldn't get as attached when he has his fall from grace.

 

I think there's probably a limit to what they could do with him while still maintaining his secret. Given that a lot of questions about him are being answered with "spoilers" we're almost certain to learn more about him later.

Which might be a reason he hates Dorian so much. Tevinter seems exactly like a bad copy of Arlathan. Everything that he was fighting against (slavery, oligarchy, binding of spirits for personal gain), with none of the beauty that came from elven magic and a connection to the Fade. Dorian is fighting against some of that, but even he admits that he didn't see anything wrong with slavery before he came to Ferelden (and doesn't ever really outright admit that it's wrong). Solas shouldn't be a jerk to him generally, but I can see how he'd project his anger about Tevinter onto the only Tevinter mage running around

I don't think he hates Dorian at all.   Granted, he often gets grumpy at Dorian's assumptions and privileged attitude (that Solas will be able to go to Tevinter, forgetting that he wouldn't because he's an elf. That subjugated spirits and slaves are treated well. Etc). And I do think he's very touchy about the subject of Tevinter, perhaps touchier than he should be (because Dorian's just one guy). But Arlathan is a very painful topic for him, and he can't even explain why to Dorian.

Does Corypheus know? I wonder about that. You'd think he would have said something to Solas, if you had him in the party, but I don't remember anything like that. It's possible that Solas looked different when he interacted with Cory originally or something like that. Maybe he worked through someone else.

Corypheus could find the orb, rather than walk up to him out of the blue and be all, "sup, bro, you want an ancient relic? Ya thanks, be back laters." In that way Solas did give it to the bad guy, but didn't actually, literally give it to the bad guy. He seemed surprised that Corypheus could unlock its full power as it is. Though I do wonder how Solas knew of Corypheus at all, and if he knows anything else about him that we don't. 

 

It's one way to make sense of how Corypheus didn't say anything in the final battle. He didn't really know either.

You're right that it makes more sense that he didn't give it to him directly. He also seemed to believe that Cory would die. Not only did that not happen, but Quizzie survives with a magical mark that was still never really explained and can't be removed. That lets someone who is potentially not an elf or even a mage walk bodily in the fade.

 

For a clever trickster god he is very bad at planning. He should just stop and settle down with Quizzie

Or maybe he knows to keep the secret because he knows of the Mythal/Fen'Harel friendship and plan.  He seems to react very strongly when the Dread Wolf is accused of harming Mythal.
