Can't believe we're basically at 100 pages. 

 

The jawbone necklace discussion had me looking up custom jawbone necklace jewelry as well. Some pretty pieces out there.

 

Little nugget for the thread: We've speculated Solas to maybe be an INTP (and a few others) in MBTI. In Enneagram I would hazard a guess that he's Type 5. That could be being too stereotypical of course.

Ikr I don't know why but when the jawbone conversation started I felt that I had to see what kind stores sold. There was a cool fox one but it was around $175.

 

Edit: @Argothian I think he will be nervous at first as he has likely spent a portion of his life alone. I imagine he may be so used to being alone that he might have a hard time interacting on any romantic level at all as he is not used to it.

 

Extending my comment since I saw some valid and good points  : I also think that despite whether he meets passersby on his travels it will not dictate whether he will be good at interacting with others on a romantic or even an emotional level. He could be the type to be very formal around others until he realizes that you will be sticking around longer than he initially though thus giving him the chance to develop romantic feelings towards your PC. As for tbe Fade and what he interacts with there I would say there is not much chance for him having to deal with desire demons in terms of attraction sexual or otherwise. It would seem that him seeing the Fade differently might be the thing to think about here. He might encounter more so spirits than demons then again there is also pride and desire demons in terms of power and knowledge. The Fade is affected by a person's emotions and memories so I think Solas might have tried his best to separate from them the best he can in order to see the Fade differently. He certainly seems like an interesting character and I look forward to how he will interact with the PC and the other companions as well as how to handle emotional situations beyond formalities. 

So yeah, my answer is nervous at first, but he will get used to it.

I'm leaning toward the second one... maybe that's just my hope though.  Then again, we can already speculate that Cullen is going to be the awkward/shy type, at least at first, so I think Solas would be handled differently.  Also there is the fact that while he has spent a lot of time alone, I get the feeling he's also met a lot of different types of people in his travels, so he might not be as inexperienced as we might initially believe.  I'm pretty sure he's had his fair share of desire demons trying to tempt him as well.  It could be that he'd be pretty matter-of-fact when it comes to things related to sex, even if relationships are something he's new at.  I do like the mysterious types that leaves you guessing though,,, we really haven't had a male LI like that before.  It'd be a welcome change.

 

Also, I just finished reading The Stolen Throne (took me a long time to get through the first few chapters, but then it picked up around chapter 5 or so and I just couldn't put it down - finished it in a day) and seeing the lineup of characters he wrote in ME - and I have to say if anyone could pull something like that off well it'd be Patrick Weekes.  I'm pretty impressed by his ability to write characters.

Since he is an introvert he will most likely not know what to do at first but will eventually flirt back and probably not all that well since he has been by himself for a long time.

According to Solas you get what you're thinking when you go into the Fade.   So he'd only be getting desire demons if he was desiring something, not just sexually, Allure controlled that woman who killed Sebastian's family because she desired power and the destruction of those who stood in her way.

That would be neat, but I kind of wonder if he'll actually flirt back, I am very curious as to just *how much* he was isolated. That is, has he had the opportunity of flirtations before or will he be oblivious or taken aback by the Inquisitor flirting with him.

 

I wonder if we have to instigate all the romances or if any of our compatriots will hit on us first?
