Is there a bug with Solas' quest? I never got the third quest and looking at my completed quest, his fade friend quest is not listed

 

I have the same thing but I'm not sure if I'm lacking artifacts. Where can I see how many I have? Or do I have to find a new one for it to say?

I do not know as well, It's  not listed on my quest menu. Hope others can help us

You need 10 artifacts, they aren't listed anywhere I think :/
I only have 8 so far, so I can't say if it's bugged yet

Or if you randomly happen to run into them constantly without him.

 

Granted, you don't get the approval boost, but that's not worthy much when every other thing you say grants approval.

 

I know I found more than 10 of the damn things, but I never saw the mission.

 

I recently saw a mission disappear entirely after I chose another one (it may come back...hopefully), but if so that may be what's happening to the Solas' mission.

No, you definitely aren't.  I have a huge weakness for fictional languages for some reason, and elven is a very pretty language.

 

Unrelated: It's been a while since the comments were posted about this, but I'd like to request that people not casually drop references to making their Inquisitor "commit suicide" in their posts, please.

 

(Just me explaining why I've got a problem with it, feel free to ignore.)

As someone that has been... I guess the best way to phrase it might be "passively suicidal"? Let's go with that. As someone that has been passively suicidal for about a decade, casual and flippant mentions of suicide aren't exactly pleasant to come across, especially somewhere I usually feel comfortable and safe online. Obviously the thread doesn't have to be censored for my comfort, but you never know who's reading your posts and what they've been through in their lives.

I'm really sorry for making you uncomfortable with that careless joke of mine.  I don't know if this makes any difference, but I am an ex-cutter who used to experience suicidal thoughts and am currently medicated.  I guess I didn't think much of it, I sort of make fun of myself as much as I do serious things sometimes.  I'm sorry- I didn't realize how insensitive that must have came off.

What's the amulet quest? I only ever got the one with the spirit

Just want to say that you guys are all wonderful and I've loved swapping theories and commiserating in this thread . I'm a bit sad that I have work today and won't be able to lurk around...

 

Anyway, I updated the playlist of songs mentioned in the thread and if anyone is interested made a youtube playlist so you can listen to all the songs all you like (I'm thinking about re-ordering the songs in the latter so the progression makes a little more sense, but for now they're in the order they appeared on in the thread).

It is bugged in my game. If you find ten artifacts you should get a war table mission (following that, you go out into the world and close a big fade rift). I reported it here if you want to log yours as bugged too.

the musical version's alright, I've just heard it a lot xD. Too much actually. a few years ago my high school had done the Les Mis Musical, and I was in the band, so I've heard it enough times to be sick of it lol. But I'm not at the moment

I don't think I could have gotten over that sucker punch ending without everyone here   Now it's my competitionist playthrough and my rogue is in the thick of things with Solas again. Good or bad, I think it's always going to be him for my Inquisitor.
