Yeah, Solas is going to be a mystery until we meet him on that, I think. I'm starting to wonder how much longer I have until I need to go on a media black out to avoid spoilers. Obviously I won't be around at the beginning of October. But I want to hear Solas voice.

 

I hope Cullen is more grown up given the what ten year interval from DA:O? I wouldn't expect him to still act like a kid with his first crush.

I agree, I would love it if he would be just awkward in general because that fits so well with his personality, but I don't think I'll like him that much as I do now if it turns out he's going to act like a super naive schoolgirl in those situations    Honestly just because he IS that intelligent I imagine he would not act flustered like Cullen in the mage origins in DA:O, just because he is used to looking at things from a neutral and serious perspective, keeping all options open, I think that's really going to affect how he's going to respond to the romance bits. I wouldn't say he'll be unemotional because of his scholarly character but he's used to be matter-of-fact about stuff that he researches right? So maybe that applies to the romance too, or maybe that's where his snarky and sarcastic part begins to shine But I'm pretty sure that in the end if he is romanceable I'll just give in and romance him whatever it turns out to be because I've developed a real soft spot in my heart for the guy by now..

If he is he probably won't be chaste marriage, though it's not the end of the world if there's no sex sceneXD I actually liked that hawke could be in a relationship with rival Sebastian and not have a sex scene cause he wanted to be worthy of hawke first (rivalmance, i believe, hints that the romance won't go chaste)

 

Anyway sebastian was also a DLC character with less content than the others, his vows are also the reason why the marriage was chaste, solas wasn't born under the ideas of the chantry or any other that dictates a chaste marriage, so if he was asexual i could see no sex scene but not that he and the inquisitor wouldn't ever do the dirty at some pointXD

I'm picturing Solas a bit surprised that someone would be interested in him at first but not really awkward. I really hope he just smiles wide and rushes headfirst into the romance just like he would when studying something new; an exciting adventure into the unknown. Not that I want to be his experiment.... well, maybe that's not a bad Idea after all

He can also flirt with me like this.. Hope I didn't embarrass myself, oh well I probably did a long time ago.

I really hope they give the chart soon because I think I"m starting to get my hopes up, the longer it takes the more crushed my little poor heart will be.

Also, I can't believe a character is actually making me look foward to the fade, which makes me hope they make it as exciting as he seems to be. I used to hate it with a passion in origins, but hopefully with Cole and Solas it might be my new favorite area *fingers crossed*

I would be very ok with an asexual romance. But I would be ok with whatever, I'm more or less indifferent about the romance options.

 

But would like to point out that asexuality is a lack of sexual attraction - it doesn't necessarily mean the person in question can't or won't have sex, or that they don't like it. It can mean that, but that's because every person is different. The definition is just referring to attraction.

 

And that's what I have to say about that.

I really hope they don't give him the Sebastian treatment. I never romanced him, and I don't have a problem with them sticking in smaller romance arcs that may cover such tastes/preferences. But I would hope that he wouldn't fall into that category. Yes, this is my selfish wants speaking, but I am not interested in having that as my only choice with him. I played out the small (whatever you wish to call it) dally with Samara in ME2, and I thought it was sweet (my poor Shep though *wibble*). And having small asides like that are nice. But exposing my greedy side once again (and repeating myself ad nauseum), all of my eggs for my straight ladies, are in one basket at this time. Still not moved to romance either Cullen or Iron Bull (if he is added the LI roster).
