I´m thinking that the tower one is his final card if you don´t romance him,but I´m not sure

We really need help testing this, because The Tower to me seems to be something that would appear if the relationship were bad...

Did you guys notice that during the conversation you have with him on your balcony (after his personal quest), he will slightly disapprove if you say you're "no different from anyone else?" I guess he feels pretty strongly that Lavellan is special

 

Either that, or he likes a strong confident woman xD

Oh man! I wanted to go for Bull in my next completionist play through but you guys talking about him is making me reallllly want to just go for it. I just know when I'm done I'm gonna be one of those needing a group hug around here lol

Yeah, I said I was no different to anyone else. He slightly disapproved and went on to say

"Perhaps not in the form of your body, no."

and then the line I think he always says after: "You have shown subtlety in your actions, a wisdom that goes against everything I expected."

 

Then asks if he's misjudged the dalish, seeing as they raised such an inquisitor. I got approval for saying no  because I figured he'd like that response.

In first romance scene in the Fade/Haven, when he talks about Cassandra threatening to kill him, he approves of a joking response of "Cassandra's like that".

Alright, here are some of my thoughts/reactions to the romance:

The Solas romance was literally the most beautiful romance I've ever played in a game, it moved me to tears, not just from sadness, but from happiness and the sheer depth of feeling as well. I don't regret it at all - I think it was really well-written and I love how centrally it ties into the plot by virtue of Solas's involvement in the storyline. I of course would have loved more content but that's always the way isn't it? Some of the other romances have more scenes but for me the trade-off (Solas' major role in main plot) is fine.
 
I don't doubt that they were intimate. There are several references to it, at least one from Solas and at least one from Sera. There was plenty of physical affection between them anyway so I don't mind.
 
Solas is a completely fascinating character and his personality is.. perfect. I love that his arc simultaneously answered age-old questions about the DA universe (what is Flemeth) while also posing new ones (what's going on with Solas)?
 
Soon I'll get to work updating the OP with new things - links to Solas romance on YouTube, vids of party banter where it's referenced, etc. I think it would be good for us to collect them together. I also think it would be good for us to collect together all the various tidbits that some people may miss - for example Cole's dialogue referencing romanced Solas and the letter sent to the Inquisitor from Leliana that shows that Lavellan does know that he's a centuries old being. So if you come across anything, post it in the thread or PM it to me please.  Obviously anything spoilery added to OP would be put under spoiler tags.
 
I definitely smell a Wolf Hunt DLC. Okay maybe that's just me being hopeful but.. Wolf Hunt DLC.

I agree with what you have said. Solas has ended up being my absolute favorite Dragon Age character so far out of all the games. Patrick Weekes did an excellent job with the writing and Bioware found the perfectn fit with GDL. I am so happy the devs were able to make a romance arc for him. It truly was moving and beautiful (and worth every tear). I must have missed the part about Leliana's letter though. When does that occur?

Well thank you I've decided to go for it! I'm excited since I wanted to do an elf next, mostly because I'm wondering how differently people react to you being a non-human Inquisitor. I'm preparing myself mentally for it! Lol

I started a second Lavellan and couldn't decide between going for Solas again or trying Blackwall's romance (since I have a thing for burly bearded men XD)... guess who I picked?

 

I'll have to make a human if I want to try another romance it seems.

I had to force myself to make a human for my second play through, so that I would actually romance someone else.  

 

And of course every conversation I have with Solas just makes me wish I was elven again, lol!  Sucker for punishment.

Pretty sure you get the tower card if you're not in a romance with solas. I've done two playthroughs, one where I was romancing Cullen but best friends with Solas and another where I romanced Solas. On the Solas romance pt I got the Hierophant, on the cullen romance I got the tower.

Pretty sure you get the tower card if you're not in a romance with solas. I've done two playthroughs, one where I was romancing Cullen but best friends with Solas and another where I romanced Solas. On the Solas romance pt I got the Hierophant, on the cullen romance I got the tower.
