For me, I knew Solas was going to be amazing simply based off his description; although we did not have much information about him, something about him seemed so alluring. (The fact that he's a dreamer? Well, I spend my life lost in daydreams than I do reality, so I can *partially* relate ... kind of ... right?) And the fact that he's an elf? I'm a sucker for elves ... Legolas, Zevran, Fenris (although, I am truly an Anders girl, Fenris was a badass and I loved his theme on soundtrack) 

 

Also, I think what added to my love of Solas was his voice actor.  Once I found out that Gareth David-Lloyd was voicing him, I was ecstatic.  He is simply brilliant.

There's wolf statues in the temple of mythal as well... curious that emblems of the two gods are shown side by side in such a way

Somehow IF that is true (Hierophant = romance),

 

Then it might be a more about the Inquisitor then it is about Solas... like his plan may always remain the same, but after getting to know him, you can see hes a good person and want to bring long term change... not just blow up the Chantry >.>

 

Just a thought.

 

 

Also, Anders is the Tower through and through. You either believe its necessary or not.

 

Solas is a lot more complex... based on our speculations of course.

I don't think bad blood, but to be so intertwined, they could have been more than friends.

But the elf Abalas I think?  Said the sealing away was wrong. So we don't know if they were sealed or what not.

It's possible she was a kind of mother figure. In the legends she's kind of the mother of the gods (of course we know the legends don't hold much water but still)

Mostly its minor stuff like Blackwall saying he wasn't expecting the Herald of Andraste to be a Dalish Elf.

The main place it effects you is when you have is during Wicked Grace Wicked Hearts when you have to gain the approval of the court- it gets you something like 10 points off your starter score if you are an elf and another ten if you are mage

Wow thanks Orlais. You're so full of wonders! I expected such shenanigans from the party quest~ I enjoy putting people in their place playing as other races, it makes the replay more interesting~ Being human during the party was really easy~

Where did he say this? Did he run this by his wife first? I'm pretty sure that would give us a good indication on if he's just trolling. Think of how many firstborns they would end up with - that's a lot of diapers!
