Exactly. That has to be my favorite romance scene in a Bioware game.
When I first saw Solas in the trailers and things I didn't think he was that cute. Actually, I had trouble deciding who to romance because I didn't think any of the romanceable guys for straight females were cute. But in the game Solas was like a black hole. You got too close to the perimeters and he sucked you in. Now I can't get out and am crushed to bits. His looks also grew on me.
Lol, same here. I couldn't decide between Solas, Blackwall or Sera. Since I wanted to play a female Dalish (my favorite Origin from DA: O), I ultimately decided on the romance that was exclusive for her- just to see how it would work for story/roleplaying purposes. And here I am, a fan now.

The only thing I saw was him confirming that he deliberately wanted to leave it up to the player to decide whether Solas and Lavellan ever slept with each other.
I could be mistaken, of course. But that answer alone makes me quite happy actually :3
Just a silly idea, I know that a lot of people think that Solas wanted to use the orb to free his people (aka the other Elven Gods) but I can't help but wonder if he didn't originally just wanted to lift the veil and allow the spirits back into this world without releasing the others.
So, one of the things I've really been missing in this game is romance specific party banter. I think there's some, but it's pretty spread out. I love having Solas in the party and sometimes his casting gets pretty funny. So, I was running around the storm coast and this banter just popped into my head. I figured I'd share. Snippy, over-protective Solas is my favorite, especially when other party members tease him.
My brain may also be addled by sleep deprivation.
For reference, my Lavellan is a snarky mage, a knight enchanter, and accident prone. She fade steps off a lot of cliffs. Solas has noticed.
I think I'll romance Solas next, if I can ever make an elf that I'm happy with.

Hitting 'test voice' a lot helps some. If I had done that I might have noticed my Lavellan's rabbit teeth sooner.

And I did the exact difference- I started my solas playthrough and I don't think I can finish right now. Too fragile. So I'm starting back over with Cullen because he's sweet and safe.
Also, don't ever youtube "Breaking Up With Cullen". It's basically the most horrible thing.

While I agree that they didn't have to do the "frick frack snick snack" for it to be a great romance, I would like to think that they did it because it hurts even more for Lavellan that way. Mawhahaa... T_T

Yes, but console commands kind of make it easier than just restarting entirely...
Unless you're playing on console...which probably means you were playing on console...

That whole thing disappointed me. Flemeth's reveal, Morrigan claiming to know things she didn't, somehow expertly revealed and yet a letdown.
When the warden challenges Flemeth, you can say Morrigan knows how she extends her lifespawn and she'll say, "That she does, but the question is, do you?"
Which made me think Morrigan found something else in that book and had lied to you because...reasons.
And maybe I'm not caught up on lore, but nothing indicated she might be Mythal, I thought. I was expecting she was like Kieran but from an older blight. It would have explained her tendency to turn into a dragon, and how they knew the ritual would work to begin with. Morrigan lying about how Flemeth extended her lifespawn would also explain why she was so willing to go with a ritual Flemeth told her about.
Then again, I think the Well of Sorrows suggests that Morrigan's brain shuts down in the presence of something really old and really cool.
Yeah, I sometimes wonder about Morrigan's motives myself. She says she wants to preserve old knowledge but to what end? She doesn't exactly seem like the type that is going to document or easily share that knowledge with anyone else. I also feel that a lot of the player's perception of Flemeth (or at least my own), is coloured by what Morrigan says in Origins.
I'm not saying Morrigan is bad, but I do think she has her own agenda. For all anyone knows, it may even align with the goals our mysterious Master Solas is trying to achieve.

I have tears of sympathy in my eyes 
I was looking through the CC thread yesterday and everyone had made such beautiful Inquisitors. They actually looked like real people instead of my collection of dorky, cartoonish ones. So I jumped in to create my human female mage for a future playthrough. Yeah... I love the CC but I just can't get it right when they go into the game. The eyes always look funny, the mouth is slightly off and the makeup always ends up looking OTT when I take it into the game.
It doesn't help that I hate all the hair. How many buzzcuts do we need!? I wish our Lavellan's could have hair more like the one from her character card... and the body paint... Heck, if she showed up in that get up I'm sure Solas would reconsider.
