Were the old gods and the elven gods the same thing?
It sure seems that way, Would mean too that the rest are dead.

PS: Isn't Cassandra cute when she was young ? That mage on the video is her first love, he died at the conclave. Raellian ![]()

Or that they're actually contained in the corpses of the wardens that made the final blow against them. DA4 will be about resurrected Grey Wardens of the past rising up as the new pantheon. Everyone who has complained about not seeing their DAO Warden again will finally get to play as them in their undead form.
What? It could happen! All hail our new lich-gods!

Haha I hope they arent rotting corpses walking around
Where do you think the setting in the nex game will be? I feel like it mght have the anderfels because of the epilogue at the end of DAI

In all seriousness tho - I think our only hints at future plots are what's mentioned about the Grey Wardens in the epilogue, and the Solas teaser. They don't seem related, and the Solas one seems the more important one..I kinda just want to leave the Wardens alone for now...
UGh this is what I ahte about bioware, they get me attached to my first character who happens to be a warden and then they say oh the blights gone who cares about wardens inquisitors and stupid human champions of kirkwalls are FAR more important

I've found it to be interesting how the idea of the great Grey Warden heroes from the first game swiftly went downhill in the subsequent games. You feel special and part of something great at the start of it all, but in reality the Wardens aren't all that hot when it comes down to it. That must be difficult for some people to deal with, especially those that left their warden alive. My "canon" warden is dead, and thank goodness for that, I say.
It would be interesting to see the Anderfels, but would there really be reason to investigate their silence, I wonder?

I know Uirebhiril is joking but...I liked my Warden and would have liked to see her come back until I started lurking around the forums. Now it seems like all everyone ever talks about is how the Warden was so much better and they miss the glory days of DA:O. I'm much more interested in what's going on with the Veil and the Old Gods than I am with whatever my Warden is up to (curing the taint). I'm sure they're related and we'll find out later (like in DA:4), but the constant cries for Warden DLC at any cost is gettin' me down! /rant
The Solas stuff is definitely more relevant right now. It's not a subtle hint that something might be happening, it's a slap in the face: "HEY THIS GUY IS IMPORTANT." From a storytelling perspective it's hard to just say "meanwhile in the Anderfells..."
Re: where we're going next. I bet it's Tevinter! That's the heart of where all this seems to have started. The ancient elvhen and the magisters were all there. Plus think of how beautiful it would look with the new engine.
She's pretty cute now. I'm determined to romance her at one point.
Yeah, she is. I was hoping she'd be available for s/s romance before the game's release. I don't like playing as a male protagonist in games if given the choice XD

S/S Cassandra would be too hot for the game to handle.

I'm not hip up on some of the internet slang. What's "s/s"
Sorry for being off-topic but I'd prefer to ask you guys because you're all awesome.
I have a question about the Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts plot quest.

Short hand for same sex.

I'm guessing it ends the Game or no one believes you at the end on who the assassin is.

My theory is that the elven gods were gods on the same manner as the pharaohs.
Solas does say something along the lines of "gods, mages, or spirits" So maybe a mixture.

After DA:I, I've stopped being as obsessed with my Warden. I know what she's up to, I got my closure. I'm slightly curious as to Hawke's fate, but if they never revisit her again, I'm cool with that too. I think they did a good job ending their stories.
But OMFG I need to know what happens to Lavellan and Solas!!!!

I think the thing about Thedas at this point that Solas hates is that he sees the rest of Thedas treading down the dark path that the Tevinter Imperium and Artlathan traveled down and the average person is being hurt in the process. Until Justinia V Chantry leadershp was corrupt and inept which is why they are so useless in DAO, the Templars and Seekers at the highest levels of authority are corrupt and so are the Grey Wardens. This does not mean that average Chantry Sister, Templar, Seeker, or Grey Warden is bad but that in charge either have no idea what they are doing (Circle of Magi) or are doing things that go directly against the stated objectives of their organization (e.g. the Templars "We're against demons lets take Red Lyrium and get possessed). This is one of the reasons why you get such leaps of approval from Solas when you tell him you don't want this power and dont want to be a hero .. absolute power corrupts absolutely which is why you see all the problems in the Chantry, Seekers, Templars, Circles of Magi, and Grey Wardens in DAI.. those that want power should never have it.. (also another reason why I never let Vivienne became the Divine -- she wants the power that comes with the title)
That reminds me... I remember reading a rumor floating around before the game release that it was possible to actually lose the game and

I was late to a cutscene, and during my cutscene I saw the warning of it dropping to like, 10. I thought it went down to 0 at one point, I was freaking out. I think I ended the quest at 20 or something.
Ultimately I don't think it matters though.
