Personally, I would not mind if Solas is an LI. Honestly, aside from Varric he'd be the only male I'm interested in romancing.

I wouldn't be incredibly worried, guys. Most of the characters are around 40. Varric is 40/41 and nobody ever said that his age would be what kept him from being a LI.

 

As a 21 year old, I have to admit that maybe it'd feel a little less strange with a younger LI. But I've always gone in for the older men

Actually, (if I'm not mistaken) Thane was around forty during the events of Mass Effect 2. And he was a green space alien. If the ladies (and fellas) aren't put off by any of that, I don't see why they'd be put off by a handsome older elf like Solas. ;b

I had forgotten that Thane was a little bit older. Anyway I liked his romance very much. So Solas age might not be issue... At least I'm hoping that it isn't.

I'm playing ESO and it seems like every third male NPC is voiced by him. It really gets annoying after a while. I hope he got paid by the line.

Could he at least reject my Inquisitor in a less irritating way than Joker did? And not start sleeping with spaceships in robot woman bodies like a creep? But I guess I don't have to worry about that in this game.

But, also I do plan on doing a Cullen play through , but it's more because I'm buddy with people on the thread and I figured I'd give it a chance. But with out a kind of convincing, Solas is the only male romance I'm interested in on it's own.

But, that being said I love EDI... Just didn't agree with the way they handled Shep rejection and hooked him up with EDI

I just wanted to say I'm sorry about your gerbil. I'm more comfortable around animals than I am with people so I know how bad it feels to lose what I consider the truest friends. *hugs*

But, that being said I love EDI... Just didn't agree with the way they handled Shep rejection and hooked him up with EDI

 

I loved EDI but I found the Joker/EDI relationship exceedingly creepy. And Joker's "oh hey I totally would have banged you, Shepard, but you're my commander and that's against the rules but technically the ship AI isn't part of the crew so it's allowed."

 

If there had been an option to discourage the relationship without making both miserable, I would have done it in a heartbeat. And not just because I was bitter party of one over Joker not being a LI 

 

But yes, that Solas. Please don't do it to me, Solas! I'm begging ya!
