I'm glad I'm not the only one who keeps saves before his romance scenes so I can replay them XD I must enjoy pain.
I like the idea of badboy!Solas trying to "break" Lavellan (with his sass and wisdom) because he thinks she's just another Dalish who won't listen to him.

What you need to survive Solas romance:
1. 2-3 bottles of liquor.
2. An unhealthily large dose of writing/reading fanfiction or making/viewing arts that help with post-game feels.
3. Icecream, chocolate or another junkfood of choice.
4. Someone to hug you.
5. If you dont have #4 look into getting/finding an old stuffed animal to hug (or if you still have them *guilty* you can just find your favorite)
6. 1-3 boxes of kleenex.
7. A save before every romance scene so you can go view them again. (Just in general save before you talk to him and if it doesn't trigger anything save over the save or delete it or whatever you do with just in case saves)
8. Dis thread to have people who share your pain.

I just got to the last scene of the romance about a half hour ago. I teared up a bit. Lol
Maybe I'm a masochist, but when I tried to romance someone else with new Lavellan... I just couldn't. It just... wasn't right. I guess I'm just too addicted of feels our egghead prince gave us :I

I'm a little embarrassed to say that I went through a few bottles of wine while playing DA:I (not because of Solas, more because I like wine). My vote is that elves drink some sort of wild berry wine. Or elfroot beer. Would that even be possible?
And then she caught him doing it because she's getting better and better at magic + fade walking
So, can non-dreamers walk the fade without significant lyrium/blood magic? Is the Dreamer ability explained anywhere? Is it something that Lavellan could learn or is someone "born" with it?

I think there's a special class of mages who can do it (forgot what they're called, but they're rare and very powerful in tevintar), but my Lavellan is a rift mage, she has the mark, and entered it twice so I'm sure her connection to the fade is quite strong by this point.

I'm sitting in class and I had to choke back the feels. The person I'm sitting next to gave me a weird look. Their bond is literally magic.

man i feel stupid i guess it's a variety of things in life at once but im genuinely so sad and anxious from this romance, just waiting for any news and dlc but knowing it'll be some time before those news come out

Ugh me too. I'm having trouble focusing on work or school. This always happens to me when I finish good books/video games though - especially romances. I get so wrapped up in it
