It honestly could have been less.  Between taking care of his siblings and the house. I got it set up on his laptop and the next day he said he beat it.  x.x  I spent time and effort making sure it would work.

And seriously, speed run, means he skipped everything but the main quest.

But that's not even the best part! Hell the final fight in the main story sucked. I had to mod in a tougher fight. (it was harder on my non heavy armor 2h weapon nord that just kinda smashed everything but i digress). Plus modding is half the fun with skyrim. I have like 100 mods working together right now. Recreated Emma Watson in the character creator for giggles.

As far as I remember, the only creatures that are directly influenced and even changed by the rifts are the wolves. They are always black (while black tends to be a rather uncommon color for wild wolves normally) with green, rift-colored eyes. They start behaving much more aggressively than before, to the point where you actually have to wipe out the whole pack that lives in the Hinterlands. Considering that the rifts were caused by Fen'Harel's orb, I'm thinking there must be a connection. Unless there are other insane rift-beasts running about and I've just missed them.

My boyfriend is a serial ruiner of romance cinematics. 

He ruined the citadel bottle shooting scene with Garrus in ME3 without even trying really, so I was determined that I wouldn't play any romance scenes with him at home this time around. 

I get to the final, VERY EMOTIONAL Solas scene and I didn't notice he was home (too busy fangirl-ing I guess), and right at the moment Solas says "Now you are free" my obnoxious (but hilarious) love comes in and says "What, did he give you a sock?" 

Guess who slept on the couch. 

OMG! You make my day!

He was so very sleepy. I wanted to help him, getting new socks and took three different kinds, he just looks at it "normal ones" And I just stare and them and have to giggle XD "what the hell is not normal about them" XD He is a little cutie, but he doesn't really like me playing computer games, especially when DA came out, I am a little bit absent... and I think I got on his nerves with "Solas conspiracy theories"

The ones in the Hinterlands are being controlled by a demon, so you have to kill the demon to free the wolves. I brought Cole/ Solas along the first time I completed this quest. I forget exactly what he said, but Cole was talking about it being good to free the wolves. I think he said something about how the wolves felt, controlled by the demon. I think Solas chimed in, too, in response to Cole's comments.

I'm not convinced that it's the orb directly affecting the wolves. I think in areas where the wolves are unnaturally aggressive, it's caused by demons.

But of a party pooper here, but: That one pack had its pack leader possessed by a demon, actually. That's the in-story reason they were behaving so aggressively. They don't tend to be any more aggressive than the other predators populating the maps, otherwise. Aside from that though, I agree that the wolves are colored really oddly. Their fur and eyes were one of the first things I noticed when I was let loose in the Hinterlands for the first time (especially the eyes, holy bologna). It would be interesting if there were some sort of connection.

 

Granted, this is a world with dragons and dragony bison things. It could be that. But rift wolves are interseting, too.
