Has anyone cracked the code regarding what Patrick Weeke's random jumbled character tweets are about? I feel like it's just a sentence with the letters re-arranged, but I'm not smart enough to crack it. Someone tweeted this at him and he understood completely:

"Jnf Fbynf nyjnlf Sra'unery be gung jnf fbzrguvat gung ur zbecurq vagb nf gur fgbel bs QNV ribyirq?"

He's using rot13 to talk about spoilers on Twitter without spoiling people. That says:

Spoiler

Copy-paste into http://www.rot13.com/index.php to either decipher a sentence or to encrypt one.

This thread is a roller coaster guys! I love all the discussion - it keeps me on the fence about whether or not things are going to end "well" for our heroines. Also I just passed 200 posts in the BW forum and I'm pretty sure 95% of them are in this thread.

I really wonder what he was going for here. I can never decide if it's a wolf or a dragon or...wolf-dragon? Why would he start this and not finish it ahhhh...

The discussion here is really great.    I thiiiink it's two dragons. The one standing looks like it was going to be yellow, like the Guardian of Mythal, it also has a wing.

So, this was really sweet.

I've already done Iron Bull's personal quest and my result ended up parting him from the Qunari entirely. I was running around Crestwood last night with Bull, Solas, and Varric in the party and got this banter:

Solas: You are not Tal-Vashoth, Iron Bull, not really.

Iron Bull: Well that's a fuckin' relief.

Solas: You are no beast, snapping under the stress of the Qun's harsh discipline.

Solas: You are a man who made a choice... possibly the first of your life.

Iron Bull: I've always liked fighting. What if I turn savage, like the other Tal-Vashoth?

Solas: You have the Inquisition, you have the Inquisitor... and you have me.

Iron Bull: Thanks, Solas.

I thought that was really sweet of Solas. First time I think I've heard him offer any sort of personal comfort/hand-of-friendship to one of the other party members like that.  <3

I love that banter. It's part of the reason I started taking Team Weekes everywhere. That and Bull calling Cole his weird, squirrelly kid.

Does anyone have a video of Solas speaking through Cole after the credits?

I tracked down the question, his answer was: 'spoilers!'

Looks like everything for Solas is still on lockdown.

Solas is totally pro-Cassandra, too. That was a surprise. He tries to act like a guru with everyone, it's just that some people take it better (Cassandra, Cole) than others (Sera).

I think it's an indication that he's not the bumpkin "apostate hobo" that he appears to be. He's comfortable in circles of power. I liked that he waved off being called the "elven manservant," lol.

Cassandra is really open minded. I wasn't expecting that from her but she's willing to give alternate ideas a fair chance, even if they conflict with what she believes. Cole probably needs the guidance. Vivienne is set in her ways and won't hear any alternate ideas, which makes for some interesting banter. The banters I've gotten between Solas and Viv have him sounding so weary. And he's pretty hostile to Dorian, even when Dorian is trying to smooth things over, which is interesting to me. Apparently the Tevinter slavery thing makes him completely unwilling to listen. Especially because Solas seems to think that just ending slavery is possible and that collapsing Tevinter's economy won't have more effects than just freeing slaves. He really doesn't seem to get ripple effects.

@Omni-tooo - What Lies Dormant is mentioned in the guide but no one has gotten it. It's bugged or the guide is wrong. I think the Ancient Keeper robe is in... one of the elven ruins you can discover in Exalted Plains or Emerald Graves. And the Keeper Robe schematic dropped off a dragon for me.

Remember when he tells a romanced Lavellan that nobles would mark their slaves in regards to the vallaslin? He probably lived the life of a noble

All of this speculation about how we might have to kill Solas is making me feel kind of sick.  :pinched:  I...really don't know what I'd do in that situation. Probably put the game down and never play it again.

Really? I haven't gotten any hostile banter with Dorian and Solas yet. They had an interesting one on the orbs. Yeah okay, Solas did get a barb in there- "the humans took a lot of things from the elves."

Viv and Solas, definitely. Especially when Cole is there. To me he doesn't sound weary, though- in fact I think he likes a good fight now and again, especially when he's so sure he's right.

It's in the Shrine of Sylaise in the Enchanted Plains. I put him in that set as soon as I get it and he wears it the rest of the game.

I am (trying to) write this very encounter!

Spoiler

Re his plans & Quizzie's reaction to them: I wonder how far out there they'd have to be for Quizzie to be unequivocally non-supportive. I could definitely roleplay to the mindset that she thinks it's a great idea to turn things back to the way they once were. Especially if Solas manages to rationalize how it may/may not hurt non-elves.

Yeah... me too.

If the situation came between killing Solas or having my Lavellan die (and/or lose the game)... call me dramatic, but I'd pick the latter  =] .  I just don't like the idea of killing any companion (let alone a love interest).  I couldn't kill Anders, either.

I dunno, I feel like they've made him too sympathetic to be a villain. Even an anti-villain. Killing someone who's helped you so much over a 100+ hour adventure, regardless of whether you romanced him or not, feels kinda gross. Especially if you largely agree with the way he views the world.

YMMV, of course. You always have the option of killing them. Like Anders and Blackwall. You can even stab Morrigan. But it's always one option among many.

I'm with ya'll. I didn't even like Anders, and I couldn't bring myself to kill him. I can't even just kick Sera out of the Inquisition and she drives me nuts. I feel like I'm incapable of allowing misfortune to fall on companions/player characters (sorry Stroud). With the Keep system you can't even pretend the DLC didn't happen - it fills it in for you in future games. I hope they take a softer approach...

Remember when he tells a romanced Lavellan that nobles would mark their slaves in regards to the vallaslin? He probably lived the life of a noble

Is the consensus that he was a noble powerful mage? I know he said he believed the ancient gods were "mages, or spirits, or something else you've never seen.." I like the idea that they're not *just* mages and are something more interesting than that. What do you all think?

EDIT General PSA: In a live Twitch interview/broadcast they announced that they have THREE patches in the works. One is in the final phase of testing, one is in QA, and one is in development. So if you're like me, and have been waiting for playthrough #2 until the companion quests and such are fixed...there may be hope soon.
