at the temple of Mythal.

Well, his concept art was with long dreadlocks.  Anyone would be hard to recognize someone with that kind of hair and is now bald. 

And I personally think he did recognize him. But these elves worshiped them as gods.  And no one gave an indication that they knew who or what Solas was. Why would he go against a gods plans and reveal him?

I happened upon it while searching online for stuff to complete the Lavellan (loose) cosplay I'm putting together for the medieval fair next month, and I'm totally getting one to wear to symbolize the Dread Wolf.

You swear he is too bald and weird to romance and then you start the game and he sneaks up into your heart

If you want a ninjamance, try being nice to Leliana or Liara without triggering their romance. It's like, impossible. Next thing you know they're getting pissed because you've been hitting on the person you actually want to romance, and you're all "I just wanted to talk about shoes".

Should I deny Solas' vengeance on the stupid mages who summoned Wisdom, would that put me on the disapproval path even though we've been buddy-buddy up to that point? Or is one mark against me not going to change anything?

 

 

If you want a ninjamance, try being nice to Leliana or Liara without triggering their romance. It's like, impossible. Next thing you know they're getting pissed because you've been hitting on the person you actually want to romance, and you're all "I just wanted to talk about shoes".

So long as you didn't kill his friend he's fine either way. You will get disapproval, but it won't make him hate you.

We were speculating last night that Thedas might operate on something like what happens in the Forgotten Realms setting, where gods are only allowed to stay as - or even become - gods so long as the belief of their worshipers sustain them. It was an interesting, though brief, back and forth and made the God of the Dead's enacting war to gain more worshipers make a lot more sense if it is like that.

That was a surprise. Alistair was like that too. But the biggest and BEST one was Kaidan.  XD I still get the giggles over that one.   Those poor poor non-gay male gamers.  I added in the guides not to give him the bottle of wine.  XD

It's that voice. That quiet confidence, overt intelligence and that soothing, gentle, rhythmic tone. GDL's voice is definitely swoon-worthy!

I kind of feel that same way about Solvellan I did about Shepkarian during Me3 before Extended Cut came out that gave us a hint that Shep would survive--

 

Bioware does the most marvelous job of writing really conflicted LI's for both ME and DA .. makes me wonder really wonder  how many of them are the conflicted LI in their own lives, or how many have been the Warden/Hawke/Lavellan dating the Alistair/Kaidan/Solas type men or women

I even followed an effing guide to ensure my male Dalish rogue was buddies with Leliana and romanced Zevran, and she still confronted me! Did all of the "I see you as a good friend" dialogue options mean nothing, Miss Crazy "I watch your eyelashes while you sleep"?!

I STILL chuckle over the 'what about us' line Alistair pulled at the landsmeet during my Zevranmance. It was like 'um, buddy, my character has never even flirted with you and yet you somehow activated the romance all on your own.'

That reminds me of a complaint I read someone had about Alistair's ninjamancing on GameFAQs.  He went from being friends straight to insisting on having sex at camp.

I honestly don't think I've made it through a playthrough without Leliana trying to hit on me and thinking I've been giving her signs. I usually shut her down, but the ninjamancing. Solas on the other hand... I just can't stop flirting.

Yes, but they could bring him back as a temporary companion to simply railroad us into telling more of "their" story.
