I honestly hope not. I don't want to lose all the quests I've completed after he dumped me in order to get an extra romance scene.

Keep in mind though, one has to define what does it mean to be a god or goddess. The elves are polytheists. This means that their gods or goddesses don't have to be on the same power scale as monotheistic gods by any means. It is possible that the dalish/elves* might start to honor Lavellan as a goddess. Keep in mind she did things few else could claim to do, ie walk physical into the fade.

I picked that option with my sassquisitor thinking he'd be annoyed. Instead he throws me that response and I was filled with the want to hug him. I don't think he'd appreciate my Rufio Trevelyan trying to hug him though  BRING IT IN SOLAS. RUF'S GOT YOU.

Found something new about the bugged third quest. http://dragonage3.wi...at Lies Dormantnot anything official, since anyone can edit or add something to the wiki, but apparantly there's a little more content involving Solas guiding you to a higher level rift at the Redcliffe farms, no extra romance scene unfortunatly, but more Solas nonetheless!

The Dalish flat-out say that they would be better off if all the city elves died with the humans during a war. Briala comes back later and refuses to give them the knowledge she's learned concerning the Eluvians. The ancient elves clearly do not like the city elves or the Dalish, as evidenced by the reaction of whoever killed Felassan, Mythal's general ambivalence, and Solas' general patronizing attitude towards them. I think that Briala + Dalish Inquisitor could work together to unify the elves (especially if an elven warden assisted), but I'm not sure we'll see that in-game because it would only pertain to a small number of players.

 

Also I thought reading the Masked Empire would offer me some more insight but no. Just finished it and it ends with another mystery come on!

Well the way Lavellan conducts the Inquisition might be a step in that direction. With all the ruins searching we do and the way we act with both Dalish and City, 

 

But if no one puts them on that track? I dont think Dalish and City will come any closer then they are (Dalish will probably eventually extinguish) and the ruins will fall to time.

I meant more of lets just hypothetically say that a new elven kingdom emergies(perhaps taking . Then naturally both city elves and dalish would flock there. Dalish because they would want to regain their ancient glory, city elves so they can be less oppressed. Asuming they have some idea of the ancient elves due to solas/lavellan or others who learn. They would have to find a way to get along.

The elves really are fragmented, distrustful, and too caught up in their differences and beliefs to come together and work towards something better for their race. Throw in what little we did see of ancient elf attitude to modern elves and you have to wonder if Lavellan doesn't just stand there for a bit and think "WTF am I bothering for?" No option is a good option. They can't stop being elves, any of them, and they aren't in a position to change a whole lot of anything right off. None of the groups seem interested in doing that anyway. They're screwed. And if some choices are made for them, by someone seeking to right his wrong, that's not really any better. Makes me wonder where that's going to go, if anywhere.

So, one thing I find interesting - and worrisome - about Solas is his stance on the Wardens and the Blights.

For those who don't know, he seems to think that when the last Archdemons are killed, the Blights will somehow get worse. He doesn't really elaborate. It starts with him questioning Blackwall with a "and then what?" scenario. Then during the Warden storyline he becomes absolutely livid with the Warden's plans to forge into the Deep Roads to slay the Archdemons while they sleep. 

 

Normally I'd write these concerns off as the ignorant  assumptions of a know-it-all, but given what Solas is, it's got me worried that Bioware is suggesting that without the Archdemons to distract them, the darkspawn are going to rise up out of the deep roads en mass and start a super blight or some such nonsense. 

 

It was a stupid plotline when Blizzard used it for the Lich King and the Scourge and it's a stupid plotline now. I'm really hoping that Bioware is going in a different way and I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion.
