So, one thing I find interesting - and worrisome - about Solas is his stance on the Wardens and the Blights.
SpoilerFor those who don't know, he seems to think that when the last Archdemons are killed, the Blights will somehow get worse. He doesn't really elaborate. It starts with him questioning Blackwall with a "and then what?" scenario. Then during the Warden storyline he becomes absolutely livid with the Warden's plans to forge into the Deep Roads to slay the Archdemons while they sleep.
Normally I'd write these concerns off as the ignorant assumptions of a know-it-all, but given what Solas is, it's got me worried that Bioware is suggesting that without the Archdemons to distract them, the darkspawn are going to rise up out of the deep roads en mass and start a super blight or some such nonsense.
It was a stupid plotline when Blizzard used it for the Lich King and the Scourge and it's a stupid plotline now. I'm really hoping that Bioware is going in a different way and I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion.
Spoiler
I got the feeling that there is indeed something more there, and that ending the Blights is not as simple as just killing the remaining Archdemons (that'd be too easy I guess). As to what exactly will happen, I'm not sure. It's probably tied to what the Taint and the Darkspawn really are.
I really do love Inquisition, but I hate how we got way more questions than answers.
