Yeah i think in terms of potential LI i think iron bull is right now my favorite, solas, then cassandra, what about the rest of you guys? the three favorite potential Li's that you like, male or femaleXD

Solas, then maybe Cullen, and that's it. (I would have said Dorian, but I can never get far in a male play through before quitting and going back to a female PC.)

Cassandra in my first playthrough with my male Inquisitor, Dorian, and Vivienne. Cass is the big romance for me, the rest I just thought would be nice to try out.

In truth I do not plan on romancing Solas but he sounds like a great character so romance or not I like his character so far

Forgot I was going to add my .02 regarding age my Inq's. Don't have a penchant for self-inserts, myself, but I do allow for certain character aspects to get reflected in my role playing (it just helps a bit with immersion). However, that could be anything - age, philosophical beliefs, some moral choices, certain times for pragmatism, and/or the taste and preference of an LI.

Anyway, I most likely intend to play my first Fem!Inq as 38 (It was one of my favorite ages, while still being closer to my real age). Assuming I do multiple play throughs (which I have so far for this franchise), I will play a number of different ages, classes, genders, races. But the first, will be as stated above.

@Lady_Lionheart - Sorry I meant to also offer my condolences on your furry family member. My husband and I practically live in a zoo, so.....empathy. *internet hugs and pie. Cuz pie is good.*

First is Solas (obviously ), then Cass, then Cullen. The rest.. not really, these three people are the only three I'm remotely interested in romancing, well maybe if Varric turned out to be romanceable but I don't think he is unfortunatly

I am actually happy if I can make my Inq the age I wanted (close to my own) his age will line up perfectly and I won't need to feel like a dirty old woman! XD

If I could have my choice Solas and Cass would be tied for first for my femQuisitor and my manQuisitor is Dorian all the way   Oh, sprinkle a little Iron Bull in there for extra flavor too >.>

Solas then Cullen, maybe Dorian, but Solas is favorite by a long way just now - I am looking forward to getting more info on Cullen but I know I'm not going to think he's as interesting a character as Solas.  At present I think Solas is one of if not the most interesting companion we've had in a DA game.

 

As for the age of my inquisitor - probably around 35,  I'm 42 and generally prefer characters to be at least late 20s.

 

@Lady Lionheart  Just want to add my condolences,  I had pet gerbils when I was little, they're great we characters *hugs*

I wish... They did put up a Leliana interview, unfortunately I'm on my phone so I can't grab a link. And we found out Solas is in his early to mid- forties.

Is it weird that actually makes me want to romance him more? Urrgh... The wait to find out whether he's romancable is going to kill me...

Also, I don't think his age is any indicator of him not being an LI. Cass is about 40, Cullen is likely at least 35, and remember Bioware did promise more mature romances this time around.

Solas is definitely by first choice as an LI, because his personality (intelligent, earnest, a bit eccentric, with a dry sense of humor) is pretty much exactly what I've hoped to see in a romance option since I first discovered games with romance options. I actually kind of want to throw a really young (maybe 25, max) Inquisitor at him, just for fun.

My very close second choice is Cullen, and for him I'll make a character that's my age, which is 30. Because he and my free-spirited mage will have enough conflict without throwing age differences into the mix.

I figure the age thing won't necessarily be addressed anyway, so it'll all be headcanon.

Mu third choice is Cass if she's bi, otherwise I'll try playing a male character for a change and go for Dorian.

Solas > Cullen > IB for me for potential LI's. Cullen is a very close 2nd place though I must admit. Honestly though, I really like all of the cast (at least for right now) so I could honestly make an Inquisitor for Sera, Dorian, Cass...basically anyone and everyone
