I don't mind his hat but I do agree with Tiellis about the metal bits, his neck clips through his jacket too in some shots which is a shame.
In all honesty, I wasn't quite sure how I felt the ball sequence. Drunk!Solas is amazing and it's nice to see him be relaxed with a side of goofy, but his delivery is almost too exuberant. I was caught off guard, then they started to dance I was all "aww". ![]()

I [unfortunately] expect it to be the last DLC, or an expansion that might come in six months-year. Most of bioware's plot related DLC tend to be towards the end of their release cycle. I doubt they would do consecutive DLCs, although they do have the Keep they could utilize if they wanted to. It just doesn't tend to make 'business sense' if each DLC required the last one.
I think the first DLC for the game will be a story that is just an addition to the main content. So, before Solas left.
An expansion might take place after the credits, as will likely some sort of 'epilogue' DLC. Not to bum anyone out or anything, just don't be surprised if the next DLC doesn't address what happened at all.

I just had a thought, what if the armies of the elven gods are locked away with them? Then that means that the modern elves are presumably descended from the meek that were left at home -- house servants and tradesmen and whatnot.
Releasing them would be... very bad. This image came to mind of the http://en.wikipedia....Terracotta_Army

Well after the Winter Palace when my archer goes all "when have you been at court Solas." he actually tripped himself!
"Well uh..." it was a quick recover but made it lose it. Oh Solas I got you off guard ![]()

I just wanted to point out that the FAQ has a mistake regarding gaining approval with Solas. It says if you ally with the Templars that he greatly approves. I tried that, and he greatly disapproved. I reloaded my save and conscripted them, and then he greatly approved.
I'd recommend PMing that to Solas. The thread moves so fast that it's easy to miss these things. ![]()

Gah! Thank you for the warning. Just in time too. I am about to play through that quest line with a second character. ![]()

They're face jewels, like people wear in India. I can't find any pics of men wearing them, but in the old shots of Ottoman and Indian nobles, men had a lot of fancy adornment. So personally I like them a lot. It's a small reminder that he's royalty of a sort, not just an apostate hobo. Plus my own conception of the Dalish has always been Roma/ Jewish/ Native American/ Berber, not Celtic as some people assume (and which Bioware is now suggesting by having them use Welsh accents). So I like that he's got some eastern-style bling on.I don't mind the helmet, what I mind is the metal protruding from the sides of his nose. Is this a glitch or is it supposed to be like that? It looks like metal grafted into his skin, ew.

i think that error is actually in the game guide itself. I saw it in more than 1 places.
I tried it and youre right. Hes not happy of allying the templars and his dialogue afterwards goes in that same way, so its not a bug.

Conscript them and give them a fair 'Cullen treatment' and its all good. Its not like youre jailing them. They want to help, they just have no leadership. They still get to reform after the end of the game, but hopefully they learned a bit,
Solas actually appreciates the idea behind it and you dont have to deal with weird time-magic.

Look on the bright side. If this is the case, then by the time it's all finished, we'll have tons of fabulous mods for our final Solas playthroughs.
I'd prefer hair DLC. You know. Console player here.
I laways find quite injust that PC player not only pay less for the game, but have more options. ![]()

Well, in the Solas thread, you're probably going to find people are more interested in Solas-related DLC. And this isn't exactly the place for the console/ PC talk.
But hopefully they have separate teams working on any hair/ armor/ weapons vs. story DLC, so that we all win.

Darn it, I didn't even think about how long it'd take for a Solas dlc if they would do multiple ones, which is probably very likely.. I agree about having a feeling that they might save the biggest one for last, and that could very well be the one with Solas in it (since I hope it's going to be something along the lines of an expansion). I just hope our patience will be rewarded and we get some closure, we've proven to be masters at that at least by now.. *sigh* I'm gonna need more fanfiction to get me through the next 6 months.. and some happy songs
and maybe find some way to travel into the future.

Lol, you messed up. You know what a guarded person he is. He's already limited to elven females. He's not going to stand for any flirting with people other than him.
you can flirt a lot with others AFTER you do the first kiss. I did and still got kiss #2

Are you sure about that? It does clip/ shift a little, but that could be true even if it's meant to just be face jewelry- which is what I'm going with until I see indication otherwise.Glitch, the metal bit was suppose to cover his nose. Like

We pay less? We should be paying less, because no licensing fees and digital distribution, but that really only happens if Steam or amazon.com puts it on sale.I'd prefer hair DLC. You know. Console player here.

Anyway people are being very optimistic about DLC. I don't want to get my hopes up about having any, let alone a Solas DLC.
