I admit I don't really get that comment about Awakening. What was Amaranthine if not a separate sandbox area? Maybe they just mean they won't have something that big. I hope it doesn't mean we won't be able to bring the original companions, because that was something they said they had learned from Origins and ME was a big priority for people.

Has anyone asked Patrick Weekes why Solas's romance arc is so weak in comparison to the other romances? Even Cullen, who was an afterthought like Solas, seems to have a lot more filler than Solas's romance.

 

I mean like snuggling and kissing breaks and stuff like that. More content.

I was actually going to bring this up. I've wanted to ask why he has less content. Like I believe he's the only LI we can't kiss whenever we want? Why is that? There has to be a reason. Far too shy to do it myself, though and I've tweeted him various times so he knows who I am.

Solas has very few scenes compared to everyone else, even if it's just friendship scenes like getting drunk with Iron bull or helping Cullen choose between the lyrium, we still get to know and learn more about the characters through that. I would never have guessed Cass was a hopeless romantic that read smut otherwise! Not only that but he always misses group scenes too, like the scene where everyone play cards together, why couldn't he had been there? I know that he'd probably rather study or read a book but it feels a bit empty and I would have loved to see his reaction.

This is what I see every time someone posts the low approval "punch Solas" video. Like... lololol you don't know it yet, but you gun git it.

He says exactly one sentence when you travel to Val Royeaux for the first time...just an example. The other characters talk a lot - and then there's Solas, creeping around in the background.

It feels as if he wasn't even a companion in the beginning, but rather an afterthought to establish the big reveal at the end. oO

It's truly a shame that he wasn't present at the wicked grace scene.Especially considering his mad skills at cards,I mean he did leave Blackwall in nothing but a bucket to cover his bits didn't he.Imagine him teaming up with Josie.

Yes, please, a link would be appreciated.  I love making my characters look like the concept ones and the card would be helpful.  I assume she's a mage?

It's in the mixed up and random dialogue you ask Blackwall about the companions in Haven.  Don't know if he does it in Skyhold.
