Talking about Sera and Solas, its a very odd dynamic because despite all his knowledge and cleverness, she still manages to fluster him on occasion. 

 

Sera: "I wonder if I can get a set of that Sentry armor?"

Solas: "Why?"

Sera: "So i can wear it on my butt. Butt History!" 

 

Even when you speak to Sera about Solas she inadvertently hits the nail on the head. 

Inquisitor: What about Solas?

Sera: Solas? His head up a 1000 years ago.

 

Sera and her crazy person insight strikes again.

It's heavily implied that Felassan (from the Masked Empire) was an immortal elf. Though he's dead now, he talked about his clan as if they still exist. I imagine there are a few immortal elves wandering about. Plus there's Abelas and his crew -- they're presumably immortal or very close to it. And the other creators locked away somewhere.

Following this conversation, two banters spring to mind... the one with Sera about overthrowing the government (lolol you know what I mean) and the STRANGELY OMINOUS one with Vivienne. Here ya go...

Solas: Hardly, but it is an opportunity. You have already divided your group's membership. That is wise; no one cell can betray all your secrets. The next step is to establish a rhythm. Sera: Where'd you get all this, then?
Solas: Do you wish to be unnerved by another tale of my explorations of the Fade, or do you wish to learn something?
Sera: I don't know. Neither?

and then...

Solas: Once you have the aristocracy weakened, Sera, you will have to redirect your lieutenants.
Sera: Oh, this again. Alright, what am I doin'?
Solas: Some of your forces, valuable until now, have no interests beyond creating a disruption - chaos for its own sake. They must be repositioned where they can do no harm, or removed if necessary. You replace them with organizers willing to build a new system and carry out the ugly work that must be done.
Sera: Wot, why? What ugly work?
Solas: That is up to you. Do you wish to destroy the nobility? Secure a title? Or change the political structure entirely?
Sera: None of it! I don't want any of that!
Solas: I do not understand you, Sera. You have no end goal for your organization.
Sera: Nobles get rattled and people get payback. I play in the middle.
Solas: Why not go all the way? You see injustice, and you have organized a group to fight it. Don't you want to replace it with something better?
Sera: Wot, just lop off the top? What's that do except make a new top to frig it all up?
Solas: I-- [frustrated noise] Forgive me. You are right. You are fine as you are.
Sera: You hurt my head sometimes, Solas.
Solas: Yes. I have been known to do that.

And the very something wicked this way comes banter with Vivienne:

Vivienne: You enjoy seeing yourself as a villain?
Solas: No more than any clever man who wonders what he could do if pushed.

And a bunch of his comments come during the middle of a quest. Basically if you didn't bring Solas along you'd know nothing about him.

Sorry for the pic heavy post (they're under spoiler tags), but I just thought I'd share a little tale of mine.

 

So I made a new Lavellan, (a rogue archer this time), and based her image on the 3D sculpt released in GameInformer (I absolutely loved it). I named her Nienna.

Kind of makes me wonder what all the companions will think about Solas being the Dread Wolf if/when they get that information.  I headcanon that my Lavellan does eventually figure it out; he left his living space behind virtually untouched, and she already suspected something when he was dodgy after Halamshiral.  I don't think she told anyone, though.  It's a bit of a head trip, realizing that the man you loved was in fact the traditional enemy of your people.

 

But can you imagine being Cassandra?  You let the Dread Wolf join the Inquisition!  How does that make you feel, Cass?

I too was love ninja'd by Solas: someone I had zero interest in. I was playing a human warrior romancing Cullen (who I adore and enjoy his romance x100000) when all of a sudden there are people singing and this elf goes and is like uh can we talk plz and saunters over and lights this torch all sexy like.

Basically from that conversation I was like..."oh, hello".

Suddenly like two days later I find myself in some sort of sexy fade dream with Solas and he's telling me to wake up and I was like...wait...come back..need kissing.

I pretend my human quiz was extremely turned on during that fade dream and Solas knew it (and enjoyed it) and that she kind of shook it off because : fade.

Then I made an elf.

When Abelas says that he has no reason to stay at the Temple of Mythal, being that the Well is gone, Solas addresses him saying: "your people yet linger."

 

Abelas questions: Elvhen such as you?

 

And Solas responds: Yes, such as me.

 

So, there are Elvhen -- the Immortal elves -- around somewhere. Solas knows they're there, but where? It's hard to say. Which, makes me think his line to Flemeth about The People needing him is more about the Elvhen than the Dalish.

Cass would probably be one of the more tolerant ones. I imagine Sera and Viv would be the ones to flip s***. I definitely think a well-gifted Lavellan would figure it out, especially if she set out to figure out who he was. What else does she have to think about?

Yes, sorry. My boyfriend is watching and DAI is nominated for Game of the Year. They had Varric and Cassandra making a little thank you speech, and then shirtless Cullen goes strutting across the screen. It was great.
