I keep imagining a scene where - shortly after the balcony kiss - a drunk-as-a-skunk Levallan lets slip that she likes/loves Solas. The other drunk-as-skunk companions riot, and decide to dress her up like a bride with flowers and a curtain and carry her - chair and all - through the keep while singing whatever the Thedas version of "here comes the bride" or "blah and blah sitting in a tree" is. They burst into Solas' study (where he was trying to enjoy a nice quiet evening) put her and her chair down in front of him and proceed to run out of the room snickering and cheering like school-children. Then they all lean up against his door and try to be quiet without really succeeding. Solas wants to be annoyed but Lavellan is so cute/beautiful that he can't and happiness and/or smut-fluff ensues. _{If anyone wants to write this I will send you all the love}

 

TL;DR I can't imagine him ever participating in the drunkenness in that context, but I'd love to see what he does with the results.

At what point are people headcanoning that Solas and Lavellan slept together? It seems from the conversation they have (right before he breaks up with her) that they've done it many times. If you chose that particular comment in the dialogue wheel, that is. Is it the second kiss, on her balcony in Skyhold? Or at another time?

Would it be out of character for Solas to "play along" by making over-the-top sexytimes noises culminating in shouting "Elven Glory!" then from the door you hear Sera "I knew it!" I want it to happen but I think he'd find it beneath them.

 

Also serious question: if one is drunk in the real world and then falls asleep are they drunk in the Fade? Because that could be horrifying.

I headcanon it sometime after the second kiss scene. I got that super early since I was able to complete his companion quest almost immediately. There was so much time in between that scene and the third one that I think something happened - either in the real world or in the Fade.

I also wonder if it wasn't that scene after Haven was destroyed where the wolves guide you forward to where the Inquisition has camped. The first time I went through that level I thought I was going to be attacked, on my second run after knowing what Solas is I had to wonder if he wasn't using some method to guide them to safety. As how else would they have found the Inquisition in that mess of a blizzard?

You know, I used to think that if Lavellan got, like, sh1t-faced with Bull and Sera and... all those other bad influences (), and they had to drag her sorry butt to bed that Solas would find out and just give this disapproving look and loooong-suffering sigh. But after that scene at the ball where he seemed pretty tipsy himself... LOL, I'm starting to think he'd be slightly less inhibited. Slightly. I mean, can't forget the cover story.

I don't think it happened directly after that second kiss, no- Lavellan looks a bit thoughtful, maybe a bit wistful, as that scene ends but Solas clearly needs his space at that point.

Judging by their VERY intimate body language in the final scene, though... I'd say it happened somewhere between Point B and Point C. Not that you have to have sex to be intimate - far from it - but something about the way they lean into each other, the casual touching, being right up in each other's space like they belong there... All that coupled with the "getting you into bed" line (the way he says it sounds like it's not a new concept for them...) and the butt touch...

With a flick of her wrist she sent it spinning, flashing past Varric, Cassandra, and The Iron Bull, before finally pointing towards a chair that had been drawn away from the others. Solas looked up from his book to find the entire table staring at him. The corners of Vivienne's mouth turned down. Solas met her eyes with a look so mild that Varric bit back a chuckle.

 

"How unfortunate," Vivienne finally said, her tone dripping with politeness. "It seems our little game has distracted you from your reading, Apostate." She reached towards the bottle, about to spin it again.

 

"Backing down from a challenge, Enchanter?" Solas's voice perfectly matched hers. "I did not think you capable." Vivienne's hand froze. Meeting Solas's gaze once more, she gave him a wintry smile.

 

"How rude of me, I had assumed that you were above engaging in silly games such as these." That mild look again, but there was something behind his eyes that Vivienne could not quite name.

 

"You are mistaken. I enjoy games, Enchanter. They are useful for more than simply entertainment. Would you not agree?" The room had gone completely silent. Cullen shifted uncomfortably in his seat. Solas waited, his face inscrutable. Vivienne's eyes narrowed, but then she smiled.

 

"On that, my dear, we are in agreement." She approached the elven mage's chair, her outfit's silk ribbons swaying in time with her step. Solas sat, cross-legged, watching her. Vivienne put one finger under his chin, tilting his head up, then bent and placed a slow, sensuous kiss on his lips. Straightening, she thought she saw the hint of a flush at his cheeks. Not so stoic, then. He raised an eyebrow at her look.

 

"It seems I was correct...Enchanter," he said, voice holding a hint of amusement. "You do not back down from a challenge."
