I didn't, it didn't suit Atisha.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do this playthrough...

I let Morrigan have the well because I metagamed and didn't want Solas to yell at me... but now I feel that was the wrong choice for what I want. Especially if she could end up bound to him somehow via that. I don't want him to forget her!

So Solas fans, I was wondering. How many removed the facial tatoos and which reaction did you folks choose to him breaking up with the inquisitor? Angry? Upset?

 

My Lavellan was upset but kept her vallaslin. I feel like I'm the only one who didn't let Solas remove them.

 

Also I don't know if it's been mentioned but I got the following post break up banter with Colas & Solas instead of the "bare faced and embarrassed one"

 

Cole: Stop. You are perfect exactly as you are. But then you turned away. Why?

Solas: I had no choice.

Cole: She feels her face, marked, marred without malice. She didn't know. She thinks it's why you walked away.

 

Oh Cole how right you are. My poor Lavellan thought that at least part of the reason he broke up with her was because she kept her vallaslin and he couldn't see past them.

I figure she's already connected to him in some way through the mark (it is his power she wields).  She's a rebel herself (since she's a self insert), drinking from the well isn't something she'd do.  My current Lavellan doesn't really have a personality at all, I don't know where I'm going with her...

Nah my Lavellan is keeping hers too, or at least my canon one,but I do love the scene where he removes them, it´s beautiful

In my PT I let Morrigan to drink from the Well, cause my Lavellan was kinda suspicious to drink some magical stuff - who knows what if it comes with diarrhoea or something like that I think it was for the best - if she meets Solas again teh choice to stay with him or not will be only only hers and not because she is bound to him

That's the idea, but we need as many as possible, I'd say the more the better

Someone else mentioned that getting angry seems to make him feel more justified in leaving. I'd rather have him know that my girl loves him like he does her.

 

I don't see that, take all the heartbroken dialog leading up to the final conversation choice and then pick the angry one, Solas looks just as much as a sad panda there as the inquisitor.

Same here, from a RP perspective I imagine my inquisitor would rather it be her to hold the well's secrets than Morrigan, due to her being an elf and all that.

 

But yes, the addiotional drama is good too. I wonder how it will affect things.

Iquisitor: Perhaps Cole can get a better answer from you than I did.

Cole: He hurts, an old pain from before, when everything sang the same. You’re real, and it means everyone could be real. It changes everything but it can’t. They sleep, masked in a mirror, hiding, hurting, and to wake them…(Gasps) Where did it go?

Solas: I apologize, Cole. That is not a pain you can heal.

Mine did. I'm not sure it's entirely right for her but Morrigan does act pretty suspicious about it and, in my game, Morrigan has a child to take care of.

Interestingly enough and i forget how this happens but with Knight Enchanter Lavellan (Jedi build Spirit Tree with Mind Blast and Barrier and the passives along those lines), and Solas using some combination of Ice magic and Rift Mage, we did a cross class combo that resulted in Nightmare some how. I don't try to think about it in terms of how, if it happens it happens, but i find that funny when i think about this pic.

HOW WOULD I FEEL IF HE HAD SOME ROLE IN THE NEXT GAME? 
Iunno, maybe I shouldn't be thinking as small as a DLC but rather as big as another game. (As strange as it is to say since the game JUST released.) I really need to read the FAQ but I'm just going to spoil tag this until I'm no longer lazy and decide to read it anyway.

I mean- if he's an elven GOD I think he'd be important enough to be featured in whatever game comes next. Not just thrown into some small DLC to have some storyline things resolved. (If any can be) That being said, I feel it would be appropriate. I don't see him as being a bad bad all bad baddie. I think he'll be handled well enough as a character to be painted as the villain but not to the point there's no choice but to eliminate him.

That's kind of expected at this point. It's a sad place for the character to go, especially if it ends up killing him, but as long as it was well written and not a complex character being reduced to mustache twirling villainy, I'd be for it.

Not happy at all.  The complete opposite of ecstatic in fact...I need to think about what that is...
